Welcome Larry Sanders and So Long

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
How has he played with the Charge? Any improvement?

I think it's more telling of TT's work-load. He is playing way too much. I think Sanders has probably looked solid in practice or else they wouldn't throw him in there to get trashed. At least I hope not.
I agree that TT is carrying too much of the load right now as really our only center. At the same time, Sanders is clearly not in condition to play in the D-League, let alone quality minutes in the bigtime on a team that every opponent plays their best basketball against.

I am fine with getting him some garbage time minutes (in the rare case that we are in that situation) but he just isn't in a place with his wind or body that he can really even spell TT even for short spurts in competitive games.

Not yet.

Still need to catch his d league debut

Yeah... but soon.

I’m sure Larry learned a lot during his last two days up here.

/sarcasm

Yeah, This is frustrating for me. Why bring him up and not play him at least some. He missed a game where he could have gotten 10-30 minutes rather than 2 minutes.

I am optimistic about Sanders. But their moves are curious to me.

Larry looks like someone who is just learning to the play the game of basketball because he's tall....

Back to the D league.
For practice or to actually play this time?

He actually made good screens and rolls on Friday. He just looked awkward doing it.

He's still got a long way to go.

Timing is not there.

His timing on blocks is still there.

What's sad -- or good, I guess -- is that Sanders is probably our best interior defender right now, even in his current state.

So hopefully he can be ready soon.

With how bad we've looked, no reason he can't get some time run.

I think Sanders has looked pretty damn good so far for the Charge tonight.

3-3, 6 pts, 4 rebounds, 2 blocks...(only 1 foul)

11 minutes... +9....everyone else on the team is a net negative...

edit : At the time I posted this, that was true, but Canton just went on a run and a few other guys moved into positive...Larry still tied for the highest +/- on the team though)
