Wait...What? I'm confused. By both this post and the zeros Oi is referring to.

@Snarly is one of those guys that seems so confident in his manipulation of reality that it makes me think of how fucked we all are if it turns out that this whole time we've all been living in the wrong one.

Wow d-league or not that's on pace for almost 32 rebs per 36 and the one thing about great shot blockers is the ones they don't get. Players have to alter their shot or avoid shooting inside all together

Sanders was recalled to the Cavs yesterday. My guess is he'll stay with the team for the game tomorrow (Tuesday) against the Magic, and then head back to Canton for their playoff game on Wednesday. But I'm not sure.

I wonder when we will give him any type of non garbage time minutes . I'd imagine we'd want him to at least play a couple of regular season games where he plays at least 10 legitimate minutes before we think we can throw him into a playoff game.

I would think we will be resting people on one of these back to backs and hopefully give him solid minutes in that game. They have to see what he has against Legit NBA centers at some point. I think he will surpise people. He is already our best shot blocker/Alterer (if thats a word). His Arms are so long he doesnt even have to be in position to contest a shot. I love it.

Random note here that might mean something but also may not mean anything.

Today, the Cavs sent Felder down to Canton. And it seems like Felder will be down with Canton at least for game 1 of their playoff run.

The reason I post this here in the Sanders thread is that Felder and Sanders have not played together yet in the D-League. Which makes it seem like the Cavs may only want one of them down with Canton at a time. Here's the timeline since Sanders signed with the Cavs on March 13:

3.14.17 -------> Neither Felder nor Sanders plays for Canton
3.16.17 -------> Felder plays, Sanders doesn't
3.18.17 -------> Sanders plays, Felder doesn't
3.23.17 -------> Felder plays, Sanders doesn't
3.28.17 -------> Sanders plays, Felder doesn't
3.31.17 -------> Sanders plays, Felder doesn't
4.01.17 -------> Sanders plays, Felder doesn't

Thus, with Felder going down and looking likely to play in game 1 of the playoffs for the Charge, maybe that indicates that the Cavs are ready to keep Sanders around for now?

Of course, it could mean nothing. Maybe the Cavs will send Sanders down for the Charge playoffs as well.

But up until this point, they haven't had both Sanders and Felder play at the same time with Canton. So we will see if that trend holds up or not.

He was sent back down today along with Felder and will play for the Charge tomorrow.

I'm excited to see Sanders play and to see the shot blocking threat enter more strongly into the defensive dynamic

Remember though that it's about overall net gain. Yes he will block and alter shots. But sometimes going for every block leads to no boxing out and lots of offensive rebounds. Other times focusing solely on blocks(which is likely how he will want to prove his worth) causes a lack of focus on defensive assignment and rotation.

So, even if he's in NBA shape shortly and has been working hard mentally and physically at Cavs practices, I am keeping my expectations very low for what he can bring in the playoffs. If he suprasses that, I'll be ecstatic, but I've never been one to thing that rim protection is about blocks/altered shots alone, so I'm anxious to see what thenet impact of having Sanders in the game will be.

I wish Sanders would not bully opposing teams but fuck every fucking SJW out there. I am tired of going anywhere and saying anything with offending someone and this is why I said this to your post. I think you offended almost everyone here at this point. Oh and Go Larry Sanders we need you!
I'm honestly offended at how underrepped this is. You should all be ashamed
