I just realised that were hell of a team, lets take a look

Lebron, Hughes, Ljax, sasha, ira, Z, donyell, drew, AV, sarunas (maybe)..

it amazes me , i think we have one of the better line ups in the east.. all we need now is some team chemistry and we'll be on our way to a championship

on paper the Cavlaiers are a hell of a team. i am trying to hold my excitment back because well this is a Cleveland team we are talking about.

training camp is going to be very important for these guys to learn to play together.

What's even better is that Donyell took less money to play for a team which he feels is going to win the NBA Championship very soon.

dont get too excited yet fellas....look what happened last year...still a few pieces to the puzzle!!

Our only missing piece is a solid back-up center who rebounds and defends. Other than that, we're basically set.

yeah i'd take Steven Hunter off the Suns hands in a second. I wish we woulda kept him last year and deal diop for a krispy kreme.

Only reason we cut Hunter is because he didn't want to come here in the first place, but agreed to be part of the trade as a filler and would be released immediately

then that changes everything forget him then..we dont need a guy to reject us and want back the next year.

he agreed to sign for a million to make the trade work as long as he became a free agent afterwards. That's a little different than simply not wanting to come here. If he wants to come here now, I'd take him. I'd also take tractor back.

Instead of trading Drew as people keep speculating, I'd look at trading Ira if we can find someone interested. He's looking more and more to be the odd man out on our new roster.

Umm, we just need to replace Diop with Olumide Oyedeji, who played very well for the Cavs' summerleague team, he has pretty nice moves on offense and its a pretty good rebounder. Dat would be our backup center, unless we could get someone else via trade, but please don't trade Gooden.

Well we still havn't "officialy" got our PG yet so we have to fill that whole as well.

I hope we get a young point guard rather than someone near their 30s. I mean, if we get one that will be great in the future than one good now I'll take the young one. We're a good team, but let's face it... We aren't going to win the championship yet. Might as well get some young guys to get a good team.

While I like Oyedeji for a camp invite and I think he could have a shot to make the roster as a third stringer, please don't tell me he's the answer to our backup center situation. Yes, he did good in summer league. Summer league is not the NBA. Ferry knows this and will bring a veteran to backup Z. The question remains who.

I still wouldn't mind seeing tractor come back, but with Saras and Donyell we may not be able to aford even him!

Thank Paxson for trading away our first rounder. That would have been the young pg you're talking about.

It's looking like our best option for a young pg is Lucas, Stepp, or Gilchrest. I expect one will be on the roster and one or two in the minors. If none of them work out, Ferry will have to cross that bridge another year. You can't always do it all in one offseason. A young PG for the future is something that can be dealt with later. Ferry has done an excellent job handling all our pressing needs. More than we could of hoped for, really.

Lucas III seems like the most logical choice. Stepp has shown strides of skill, but I fear his injuries will prevent him from having consistent minutes in the future as a starter. He can be an excellent role player, but definitely not a stud.

Gilchrist I was never really high on. Terrible me-first attitude. I see him turning into the next Stephon Marbury. Immense talent but no IQ.
