Were a hell of a team...

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
This should be a really fun team to watch. Just think of the ball move up if we get Sarunas. We'd have Sarunas and Lebron who create easy shots for their teammates and will make a few highlight reels doing so. Then add in Hughes who's seen time at PG and can handle the ball. The passing ability of these three should lead to some open looks for each other and also the big men.

The other thing to factor in is that all three of these guys are good ballhandlers, so any one of them can iniate the offense or lead a fast break. I can see us using an offense that is very opportunistic. We'll push the ball if the fast break is there, but if it isn't we still have a tough half court offense because we have a legitimate low post threat to go with Lebron, Hughes, and hopefully Sarunas.

I can't wait we have shooters(marshall)(sarunas) a low post threat(Z) defense(hughes,Snow)overall scoring(james)a bench spark(marshall varejao) i cannot wait i havent been this excited since...i never have been! lol..

Not raining on anyone's parade 'cuz I haven't been more excited about a Cavs team since the Price, Harper, Nance, Ehlo, Daugherty, Williams group before but was wondering how our team would compare to the leaders of the eastern conference?

Yea no offence, not trolling or ne thing, just stating my opinion, the Cavs are not at the level that the Heat, Pacers, or Pistons are on, even after your guys nice offseason. Thats the feeling from most of the NBA fans I've talked to or have read there opinion about the subject.

That's interesting because most see the Pacers being better than those 2 teams next season. Unless you just have a short term memory and don't remember them winning 61 games with there full team, that has now gotten better than that team.

We'll see: the Pacers have a bunch of players who get hurt often (JO, Tinsley), one who has a screw loose (Artest), and have lost Reggie. If healthy and Artest keeps his head on straight then they should be up near the top, but those are big if's

right.. i don't like the pacers at all.. i don't think they are in the same class with the heat and pistons..

JO is hurt all the time- tinsley lives in the hospital ..

has bender ever played a game ?

the pistons are far more superior...

I agree, but if your going to say that they could get hurt, whos to say that LeBron couldn't or Hughes snap and hit someone in the face? Right now based on what is set in front of us. We still made the playoffs last year with all those problems and took the Pistons to 6 games so those don't bother us.

We made it to the playoffs essentially with a team or David Harrison, James Jones, Fred Jones, Anthony Johnson, Reggie Miller, Jeff Foster, and Eddie Gill

After losing Jackson, Ron, JO, and Tinsley for most of the year. We will be better this year, and not only Pacer fans think that at this juncture.

JO is not hurt all the time, Tinsley does get hurt and who give a shit about Bender?

I'm glad you don't like the Pacers, but theres a difference in not liking them and just completly underating them because of it.

it's not that dude-- but we were talking about the cavs, and you come in and start typing about the pacers...

i don't have a problem with that, but there is another section for it..

i don't know much about the pacers as a team-- i know the parts..

but from what i have been reading, S-JAX ,J.O were really tight with mike brown.. that could lead to some problems- might not make a difference ? but it could.. your defense might not be as tight as it was..

as far as "THE KING" and hughes clubbin' someone in the grill ? nah!! i doubt it..

S-JAX and ARTEST are both bipolar...

i mean both are on the brink of some mental illness...

i don't know what it is ? but there is something about the pacers that just doesn't scare me..

although i would love to get JAMES JONES-- i love his game, but there is no room on our squad for him..

No, I didnt start talking about the Pacers, I simply replied to another posters comments about how you stack up against the Easts elite teams, Miami, Indiana, Detroit. You left them out, I commented, then another posterr commented and I commented off of that, so actually I didn't start that.

I wasn't even being a dick, doing that would have been saying that everyone thinks the Bulls are even better than you guys.

btw, JO wasn't close with Brown in case you were wondering. Ron does have some "issues" but anyone that tells me that they wouldn't want him when playing his best is full of shit.

Anyways...

What this Cavs team needs is two straight years in the playoffs. The team needs to mesh on the court and then we will be contending for the finals in '08.
