Dude. You should know by now that's my default position pretty much every season. IDGAF if I'm accurate as any kind of prognosticator, that's not my job or anything I give any fucks about. I'm a fan, nothing more. I always root for my team to make the playoffs, to beat the odds, whatever.Jesus some of you guys get sucked in every. Single. Offseason.
The fact that there are real life human beings out there that believe we have ANY shot of making the playoffs next year. Wew

After all these years I'm numb to criticism for saying that next year could be a good year. I have nothing invested other than my attention, which I give by choice for pure entertainment value. I couldn't care less what anyone says in hindsight. One of these years I'll be right and that's pretty much all I care about. Until then I'll bide my time and and always assume the best until they prove me wrong.
The law of averages is on my side, baby! You'd like to THINK one of these years you'll be right ....
Don't worry, they'll all come back when it happens.I won't know what to do with myself when the Browns eventually make the playoffs. It'll be awesome as fuck though. Hopefully, when that time comes, not too many people have given up the ship.
I would hope we could do it by January 2020. Already young talent (defensive front seven) on the team, most of these guys should take a huge step in the next two years. Legit o coordinator. By 2020 Hue has proved himself or has been replaced. Also that is two more drafts ( one large one this year for sure) and two free agent classes. If they don’t have a team that can win 9 games or more two years from now than something has gone wrong again. We were about to make the playoffs under Mike Pettine the year we drafted Johnny XFL. We were what, 7-4? Then he gets forced on the coaching staff and the wheels fell off the bus.
I don’t think Pettine was a particularly great head coach, but he was getting results when he was doing it his way. Ray Farmer and/or Jimmeh ruined that.
Even if the start of that season prior to the Manziel Mandate was entirely luck, it just goes to show you that everyone eventually lucks into a decent season.
I’m the next 2-3 years we should make the playoffs. Law of averages, if nothing else.
Let’s say January 2021.
