i dont see any trade involving Kyrie unless we get two first rounders back. I would consider a Rondo trade if it contained both boston firsts 2014 and 2015 to start with. Any other players would have to equal out on both sides.
For clarity, I would use this years boston pick and trade the 2015 pick to get a decent center.
So the thing is that you wont be able to trade Kyrie to any team that he doesnt think is a good idea for him. So that means New York, Brooklyn, LAL, LAC, Miami, Possible OKC, Possible Houston, Possible Boston. But of these, Boston has the best assets.
When you trade a player of Kyries ability, you should get two firsts period. Bostons first is good, but not good enough to be a straight trade. So you get two Firsts from boston or slam the door.
If you did that deal, you would use the boston first to pick up Randle or Van Lieigh, then trade the 2015 with our 2016 and Deng sign and trade attached to Memphis for Gasol (or a similar trade) If you had this lined out you pick Wiggins or parker first. I have not done the math in terms of cap space, but you still have Jack, Gee, AV, CJ to clear space for a major signing, and Tristan and Bennet as bargaining chips. Even signing a Haywood type player might be enough.
Line up would be
Dion, Rondo, Delly
Haywood, Wiggins,CJ, Dion,Rondo,Delly
Wiggins, haywood, Cj
Tristan,Bennet,AV
Gasol, Van Liegh, AV Zeller
and there is still Felix and Karsarev to consider.
I personally think that is a lineup that can compete for a title in a couple years, and for more than a year in a row.
The negative would be the possibility we would havevto face a Kyrie/Love combination in Boston...
