I haven't heard anything the past few days about who the Cavaliers are interested in acquiring, possibly before the season starts.

The Cavs might be better off not having their interests leaked in the media, but if there were some of them tweeted or written about this short "offseason" I've missed it.

What is Chris Grant's plan right now, and over the next few weeks?

Has anybody heard anything?

Yes they were waiting for you to create just this post to share what they heard... give them a few minutes to find this post I am sure they will spill it all when they do.

You need a new bed with no wrong sides.

It cost you nothing to browse thread titles. It was a question, where else should I ask it? You didn't have to click on the thread. Stop whining.

Other than AP, I haven't heard a thing.
Rumors on this board of interest in DeAndre Jordan, but LOTS of teams are interested in him & there's been no confirmation of interest from the Cavs.
I don't look for any big FA signings. I think it's more likely we use the TPE on someone with a short-term contract (think Billups).

I think they should stand pat. What's the point of blowing money now to buy a few more wins and a worse draft pick?

Let's spend when we're ready to contend and have lots of young talent.

Hopefully nobody.

Tank this yr, get a top 5 for this sick draft class and then a key FA next season and we will be back in biz.

Oj Mayo? not a bad option at 2.. will most likely be free by MEM. Is most ideal player to me for FA 2012. That is if we go 3-4-5 in draft.

I like the tank and top 5 pick, but don't agree with the key FA part. Get that top 5 pick in '12, let him grow with Kyrie/Thompson, land another top-6 pick in '13. Then, start looking to put some role players around them.

soooo your saying do what the Thunder did.. Great motto to follow.

Well, there goes any potential interest we had in Jordan. 4year/$40mil with GS underway.

Where have I seen this before...

Anthony Davis, Andre Drummond, Jeremy Lamb, Harrison Barnes

When the Cavs got Casspi grant said he was one of 8 or so young players that the team had targeted. I wouldn't be surprised if OJ mayo was on that list too. Memphis is about to have three guys near max money, you would think there is a deal to be made, maybe using the TPE plus a heat first rounder? Or I could see them being interested in Boobie. Mayo is an RFA in the summer, can't see them wanting to pay him too.

I think Mayo reads too high on the turd-o-meter for the Cavs liking. Someone like him might make sense down the road once the organization has had a chance to re-build the culture and identity. IMO, they're trying to get rid of those types ... not bring more aboard
