Who is the “greatest shooter” in Cavs history?

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
That still has to rank above Joe Harris (as a Cav), for instance. I get he’s not top 5 or anything but top 15 ish which is about the number of names you had? He has to be in there. Kopono??
I'm saying shooters in general not necessarily shooter while they were a Cavalier. If I want a 3 made by a guy in his prime I'm taking both Harris and Kapono over JR Smith, that's all I'm saying.

I know I've been talking about him alot recently because of the parallels and comparisons I make between he and Okoro. Jordan said this guy made him WORK and from the ultra completive and maniacal Jordan, that's as close to "Jordan stopper" admission as you'll ever get

was at that Portland game where Phills went for like 40 or 50.. Phills was more of a scorer mentally than I think Okoro will ever be. Dude put up nearly 30 a game in college as a senior. But defensively, yes, and role on the team, yes.
RIP Bobby!!!

No honorable mention for Delonte as the greatest shooter? I mean he was arrested carrying 3 guns including a shotgun in a guitar case strapped to his back. Even if he cant hit the target with that shotgun, he at least gets style points right?

For all of the negativity around him, Danny Ferry probably deserves mention here as he was at 39% or above on three pointers in 6/10 seasons with the Cavs. Ferry could shoot the rock. He just wasn’t an NBA caliber athlete.

From the 70”s:/80”s with no 3 Point line

Bingo Smith
Austin Carr
Mike Mitchell
Terry Furlow
World B Three
Dell Curry if Embree had no given him away

Kyrie Irving

He did hit the biggest shot in Cavs history :dunno:

I am the greatest hua hua hau haha

While I can appreciate the joke, Delonte just feels too tragic a figure to make fun of now.

Probably true, i went back and forth on making a joke...i hope this has a happy ending, but most stories like Delonte's dont unfortunately.
yeah, I don't see it ending well.

Smith was a good shooter and made some big shots for us but he wasn't a great shooter. He only shot 40% for 3 in 2 of his 17 seasons. He has a career eFG% of 51% which is good but not elite.
Agree with this. Doubt it's enough to get him on the list but...

JR Smith's ability to make circus shots, the type to make a coach's head melt if they didn't go in - was something to behold.
