Wild Predictions for 2021-22 Season

I think sexton/Cedi are traded, K-Love plays at least 55 games, and Mobley makes All-Rookie 1st team.

Realistic prediction: still not a playoff team. Our best two (and really only two) offensive threats are undersized. The roster as it sits today is going to be outscored on the regular. Although their defense took a step up, it's not thaaaat good.

I'm very concerned about Okoro's development with the lack of roster changes we've made. I do however like the fact that we actually have the same coach 2 years in a row, for the sake of continuity. Also no Drummond problems and I think the chemistry on this team will probably be the best its been in quite a while.

I'll say Garland and Sexton each make a leap. They'll average 42+ combined.

There's a lot of continuity from the team that finished the season and that will help. Basically they subtracted Prince and Hartenstein and added Rubio and Mosley. That's assuming Hartenstein goes elsewhere. The coaching staff is unchanged except for Gottlieb.

Love played in 25 games; Nance 35. I'm hopeful those numbers will increase but there's no guarantee. Dean Wade finished 6th in minutes played with 1,212. I'd like to see Mobley, Nance, and Love take all of those minutes this year.

Sexton challenges for scoring champion of the league by tripling his amount of triples on average. But at the end of the season when he needs to just get 20 points in the game, Kevin plays his first game of the year and takes every shot given to him after winding the shot clock down. We lose by 40, Kevin shoots 5/32 and Sexton scores only 19 shooting close to 78% for the game.

Garland gets all the assists that game and ends up signing a contract with the Cavs for 2 mill more a year than Sexton just to prove a point.

Despite all that we still only win 26 games because Okoro decides to focus only on offense and dribbling.
