Windhorst on Trade Possibilities (Tues., Feb. 17)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Clipps don't want Camby risking injury. :D

EDIT: Forgot about Zach. ****...maybe they'll look at it as "develop DeAndre time"...?? We have the worst luck...

And the Suns are destroying them, with a great night from Amare. Great..

Zach Randolph threw a punch and connected with Louis Amundson's face. Extended suspension incoming....chances of Camby becoming available declining rapidly.

not really...they dont need camby to play, heck he could take the rest of the season off since they're not making the playoffs

^^Well, with the lack of Big men they will soon have, we may need to throw in a big of our own in order to receive Camby, due to Randolph being an A-Hole. Who will it be? Andy? JJ? either one of them will be well worth it if we can get Camby IMO...

Whats the point in throwing a big to just get camby??

Im worried about camby offensively...We need a low-post threat.

They'd still have Randolph (but yes he'll miss a few games due to being an idiot), Kaman (should return in the next week or two), Jordan, Skinner, and Novak at the 4 and 5 though. It may be scary for about a week or so if they were to trade Camby (assuming Randolph is suspended and Kaman is out at least another week), but Randolph & Kaman shouldn't be out longer than that (I may be assuming with Kaman, but I heard 1-2 weeks after the all-star break).

Plus, we'd likely trade Snow + Wright (Wally's contract is too large, unless it's turned into a bigger deal with more players involved), so they could use Wright for 10 minutes a game. Or perhaps throw in Jackson instead of Wright?

If they were to trade Camby, here's how they'd be with their bigs:

For 1, maybe 2 weeks (wow this is terrible :chuckles:)
Jordan / Wright or Jackson?
Skinner / Novak

For the rest of the season (pretty darn solid, especially for a crap team)
Kaman / Jordan / Wright?
Randolph / Skinner / Novak / Jackson?

Edit: And Thornton can play some 4 at times, right? They could go small ball with him there as well.

At this point, it's wait to see which owner/GM cracks first.

At this time of economic crisis, if we do not see Wally's contract moved, I, for one, would be stunned.

Just wait a few more hours guys, we'll hear something, I'm sure.

Camby can score in the post...he doesn't have any spectacular post moves...but he gets the job done.
