Because he's been around 14 seasons... His numbers are off the charts and he's going to have so many damn records it will be ridiculous.... Just like Bonds deserved it in '02 but couldn't get it done.... Though, nobody has put on a show in the World Series like Bonds... That was Jordanesque...

Griffey deserves one too...

So much emphasis is put on numbers in baseball and Alex will have phenomenal numbers.. A championship was the only thing missing on that resume'-- so I'm glada player that could go down as the greatest ever or of his generation got one especially since Pujols already got his...

I just hate to see such talent not at least get one...

He lied to fans, teammates, and everyone else and is an admitted steroid user. His numbers are completely tarnished.


And please, never put Alex Rodriguez in the same group as Ken Griffey Jr...one did it right and suffered (I'm sure Griffey could've used PED's to come back from injuries, but didn't), one did it wrong and will, in many fans minds, never be forgiven for it.

What's sad is that A-Rod was a great player without steroids. But we'll never know how many of those home runs were from his natural talent and how many were from PED's.

I can list hundreds of players more deserving than A-Rod, who is an embarrassment to the game of baseball.

If Griffey Jr. wouldn't of been hurt for so many years nobody touches the home run record for a long long time. Pujols would be the only person in my opinion to have a chance but again those are all what ifs.
