Yankees get their RINGS !!!

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I can understand if some feel strongly about it... A-Rod was damn good way before any of this stuff and he'll be damn good for another few years... So I certainly won't look at his numbers as skewed... Just like I don't with Bonds or McGwire...

You have to...whether you like the guy or not, we don't know how much of an effect the steroids had on him. We also don't know how long he used - he might've all along (I know he said he didn't, but he already lied once).

A-Rod was the face of MLB, and he embarrassed the entire league. Just think - he'd still be living a lie today if he wasn't caught.

And if Bonds/McGwire don't get into the HOF, neither should A-Rod.

Please relocate yourself...

Well, his use probably coincided with his increased muscle gains, so I highly doubted he used in Seattle...

I just don't put much stock into the steroid issue... A guy like Palmerio was accused of using, but his numbers were pretty consistent throughout... A-Rod's the same way... He was 40 homers and 120+ rbi's in Seattle... So I don't see where the 50 homers and 130 RBI's is a big deal in TX...

He still had 30/100 last year in a 124 games and we know he wasn't using when the spotlight was on.... So again, I think the natural talent and his numbers are pretty authentic based on his talents alone....

Now someone like Sosa who got a huge spike can be one thing and I guess Bonds... but whatever, they played in this era, it's hard to bust everyone... Manny's numbers were as good or better in 1998/1999/2000 than they were when he was accused-- so again, it's not really an issue for me...

THE CAPTAIN is clean though....:king: (Ultimate Role Model)

Yea, die knicks...

Because he's been around 14 seasons... His numbers are off the charts and he's going to have so many damn records it will be ridiculous.... Just like Bonds deserved it in '02 but couldn't get it done.... Though, nobody has put on a show in the World Series like Bonds... That was Jordanesque...

Griffey deserves one too...

So much emphasis is put on numbers in baseball and Alex will have phenomenal numbers.. A championship was the only thing missing on that resume'-- so I'm glada player that could go down as the greatest ever or of his generation got one especially since Pujols already got his...

I just hate to see such talent not at least get one...

He's a phony, just like most of the NY sports fanbase in this country.

Put a big old * next to his bust in Cooperstown.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

I know a few Indians who were much more deserving of rings than this cheating piece of shit. I'm no fan of fatass money-grubbing CC or any of his new friends on the best team in a broken league.

FUCK THIS THREAD!

I just can't stand the Yankees. It felt so damn good when we finished them in the ALDS. I want that feeling again, I hate NY fans. I miss hearing them bitch and moan about a 200 million dollar team choking. They always got to rub something in someone's face like they're top shit.

Or so you think..

Before all this came out, I actually thought A-Rod was the one guy that would be the TRUE HR king when it was all said & done..

Boy, was I wrong.

The whole steroid talk is pointless. If you thought what was going on in the late 80's thru the early 00's was natural you've got/had a screw loose.

Everyone had the same opportunity to juice back in that time. It was a level playing field.

The issue with baseball, is as a whole the 162 game season it is NOT a level playing field. If we're gonna start putting *'s on guys stats for doing something that was allowed by the league, lets put *'s on every Yankee, and Red Sox, and Dodger etc.

Ah, the good ol' "everyone was doing it so it's OK" excuse.

1) Not everyone was doing it. Many were (See: The Mitchell Report), but while the list may seem long, it's still a small percentage of the league.

2) Even if everyone else did it (they didn't), A-Rod is still guilty of cheating AND lying.

3) His numbers are most definitely tarnished...
