A contrary take...
We keep the status quo but force Hue to take on an offensive coordinator and an assistant Head Coach who would be in charge of the aspects of game management that Hue is failing on. Hue just has to focus on being the cheerleader and let those guys do all the heavy lifting.
Scenario 1;
Kizer balls out with Gordon and wins 2-4 games taking us out of the running for Rosen and in doing so forces us to roll with Kizer as QB1. We draft a talented QB a little further down at appropriate value for the pick and pick up a veteran as 3rd back-up and stopgap. Draft BPA and fill a few more holes with other picks and ... Superbowl, baby! Or maybe, at least a solid winning season with a crack at the playoffs.
Scenario 2;
Kizer continues to struggle even with Gordon and CoCo on board. We retain the top draft pick and draft Rozen. We sign a veteran QB but someone better than the guy in my first scenario because we might want him to start next season, and let him and Kizer compete for the starting job next season while we allow Rosen to develop. Still work on winning games and building the best possible cockpit for Rosen to step in to.
Either scenario, next season is do or die for the front office and coaching staff, no more rope. Anything less than a .500 season should be unacceptable and they should know it going in.
