Your biggest question about the Cavs this season

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
biggest question iother than can we stay healthy is easy for me

can we give LeBron enough help.....I mena lets not kid ourselves....LeBron is good enough to get us 50 more wins but if we can get some guys to step up and play like they have the ability to do then we are gonna be tough to stop

My biggest concern is did we overrate the cavs since they got to game 7 against detroit.

this is what im worried about too. this is cleveland, and our sports teams have a way of playing way over their heads one year and the next playing way under their heads.

That's not Cleveland, that's the law of averages. Is there reason to think the Cavs peaked last season? I don't think so, but if LeBron goes down everything changes.

The Cavs have so much room for improvement over last season, I just think they're going to take advantage of most of them.

1) How will Z hold up over the season?

2) How well will Gooden and AV come into their own as all-around players this year. You could add Brown to that as well.

My biggest concern is that if Coach brown will let our dynamic duo rookies play.

Why did we feel it necessary to sign David Wesley? Can we drug Z and knock him down a flight of stairs and Vin Baker his ass?

REFUND

For myself I considered the biggest question as the one the one facing the Cavs as they go forward and what needs to be answered to help make them a perennial championship contender. That's why I chose finding out whether Larry Hughes is the right fit for sure with LeBron. I'd like to know whether he is the Robin to LeBron's Batman or is LeBron's Pippen or if other moves need to be considered.
Larry certainly was huge tonight against the Wiz.

I just looked at it from that perspective and not as the biggest concern for only this season. I do agree with just about all the concerns about this season.

My biggest question(s) has to do with ZySlowness Ilslowness..

We need to know if: (A) Z will start to decline, and if not, will he be making an appearance for us in the playoffs for the 1st time since 1998, since he missed the party last season..?

PIP-

I too share some of the same concerns as you do.. After watching tonights game, I think the concern becomes more apparent.. Granted, 1 game.. However, if you noticed, he had no confidence.. He had no low block moves, and he couldn't get any position..

Keep up the great work, PIP...

I'm also concerned with Z's supposed "stellar interior defense". I must have missed it when Etan Thomas purchased some low post moves off Ebay before the game..

Dywane Jones anyone?

Etan abused Z....god thats sad to say....but it was just one game (I HOPE haha)

question....What can we do to provide LeBron and Larry help in the back court cause Eric Damon and David and Sasha are not cutting it

A....someone like Jalen Rose....someone any1 has to be better than that group

question....when will Z bust out of his playoff slump???

A...soon I believe in you Big fella....watch out for Z against San Antonio

It took 20 games last season for him to get in to game shape. I expect it'll be a lot less this season because I believe he dumped his non-workout regimine and he'll get going sooner then that.

My biggest question is what point guard are they going to get before the trade deadline. :chuckles:

That said,

My biggest concern is point guard. Everything else is working. Damon was our best offensive guard and he was pretty offensive in a rude smell kind of way.

The only positives might have been that Snow and Wesley may have been effective defensively, since Arena was held to micro points, but that migh have been Larry clamping him for all I know (did not see the game). If it was Larry, he had an incredible game, since he matched Lebrons offensive numbers and did so with better efficiency. If he was also the defensive factor that shut Arenas down, then he is absolutely on fire.

Either way, point guard is the problem.

We might imagine a Larry Point solution if we had a 2 guard (Jones, Wesley, Pavs) or a three (Ira, Pavs) that was doing well. But we don't have that either. If we were to rank the points plus pavs on last nights game on a scale of one to ten (Ten is Chris Paul) it would be:

Snow 3
Jones 2
Wesley 0
Pavs 0

Also we need to get the turnovers under control. Lebron turned it over five times and Washington scored 21 points off our mistakes. This game would not have been close if we had matched Washingtons handles.

In other news, Monta Ellis had a great night (22 points), Marko Jaric had a decent night as well.
