Your Favorite Food and its Culture

Well, I am White (Born and raised in Tampa, Fla) and my wife is Korean (Born and raised in Seoul) and we both are appalled by most asian foods. Hahaha

We are a household of mexican food lovers. Even my 6 year old son puts Peppers or hot sauce on everything he eats. lol The spicier the better too!!! I bet we eat mexican a MINIMUM of twice a week. I lived in El Paso, TX for about 5 years on the border of Juarez, Mexico and that's where i think that i got hooked on it. It's horrible because I have gotten so accustomed to eating it, I can hardly enjoy something as simple as waffles without wrapping them in a tortilla and putting hot sauce on them.

El Paso I bet is amazing for quality mexican food. I moved here to Phoenix from indiana and love the variety of mexican food. Funny thing about mexicans....they love chineese food i noticed, lol

Lol - We always got a kick out of how much the hispanics LOVED their Chinese food down there. On any given day, The Mexican resturaunts were packed with Whites while all of the Hispanics were at the Chinese resturaunt. :chuckles:

SO many good authentic mexican foods down in Juarez. There was a paticular dessert that I really liked that was popular down there called "Dedos De Novia" Which loosely translates to "Finger Of Girlfriend" I believe. It was like this Rolled, fried shell with cinnamon and sugar and whatnot in it. So freaking delicious. Havent had one in years though.

Have to give my props to the best burger I have ever had. Everyone around here talks about in and out burger, but they just dont compare to a good old Sugar Burger from swensons.

Carl's Jr is very popular here, it is my wife's favorite. I still dont think either (in and out included) hold a candle to swenson's. Best burger ever.

Swensons is good, but is very overrated IMO. No chance it is the best burger out there. I have had many burgers at random bar/grill type places that are better than Swensons.

The fries suck. But the 585854 flavors of milkshakes they have are good.

I agree, the problem is that i've become sick of the flavor, all the burgers taste the exact same.

And as a huge Phil Savage fan, I do in fact root for Buffalo...wings that is. Wing Stop is my favorite place for Buffalo Wings and seasoned fries. They don't have em in Florida but I used to get them in Dallas like once a week.

Ever been to quaker steak and got some Atomic wings? Me and a group of friends go from time to time on Tuesdays and get beer and all you can eat wings. One day i decided to be a hardass and impress my friends by eating 5 atomic wings. I ate around 3.5 of them and it hit me. I felt like i ate lava and mixed it with the sun. My eyes were watering and i made the mistake of wiping my eyes. The sauce got into my eyes and it looked like i was crying. I couldnt sleep that night because i had an awful stomach ache that wouldnt go away. I remember the morning i woke up and i took a glorious shit. I can draw pictures if needed.
