Re: Cavs Media Day

Hopefully there is a jersey retirement in his future this season.

Re: Cavs Media Day

Big Z lookin smooth! Love it ... Only Z can make an ugly awkward looking 7 foot lithuanian look good

Anybody else remember that?

It seems like it's just me, but I think that tarnished his Cavalier legacy, just a bit... I still like the guy and I'm glad he's back in the organization and all of that, but I just don't fully look at him like I once did.

I don't know, I'm probably just spitting nonsense.

Re: Cavs Media Day

I know its been said before, but Chris Grant is surprisingly tall.

It probably shouldnt be surprising considering he played ball, but seeing him standing next to Z and almost looking him eye-to-eye made me do a double take.

Yeah, so pissed he spent his last year in the league playing for a team in the finals instead of on a record breaking, 2nd worst team in the league....quit acting like he's the first player to do this. Utah isn't up in arms because Karl Malone played for LA for a year in order to try to finally win a ring.

It wasn't tarnish. It was a Tan. It really looked out of place on him. Still, it would have been a lot better if he got his tan in Dallas instead of south beach.

Re: Cavs Media Day

I'm not mad that he left the Cavs, I'm just mad that he went to the Heat.

Same with Allen. I didn't care that he left the Celtics, but I did care when he went to the Heat.

I'm not saying I hate Z. I'm just saying I think it put a tiny smear mark on his legacy.

You can be mad he went to the Heat all you want. But he and LeBron had good chemistry. Why would Z go somewhere else when he could go to a contender with a good friend on it?

And no... just because he was friends with LeBron doesn't mean he sucks. The guy still loves Cleveland to death.

He tell you that personally? I think it's more of he likes the organization and the check he receives from it.

"I don't have to tell you how much I love Cleveland," Ilgauskas said. "I know I'm from Lithuania, but Cleveland will always be my home. I love the people of Cleveland. But at some point in life, life changes and you have to move on. I'm not going anywhere. I'll be back in the summer. I'm just changing my workplace.

"I've been a loyal soldier for 14 years. I just feel it's time for me to go and chase my dream of winning a ring. If I'm fortunate enough to do that, a lot of me will thank Cleveland for it."

Your move, troll.

Re: Cavs Media Day

No escaping the Z era..

What a depressing, slow, weak, frustrating era of "highly skilled" basketball in the post for the Cavs.

I swear all James needed down low was a guy who could power up to the basket and finish strong, at a reasonable pace.

It didn't happen for us. Let's move on!

Move on from what, liking Z? That's dumb.

Funny to me that someone would complain about the only other position we didn't have to worry about during the Lebron years, especially considering what we've had at center since Z left.

The only measly thing Lebron needed was two seasons with Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh. Let's move on!

I wasn't trolling I really was just wondering. I don't live in Cleveland so I never saw that in the paper. In my defense, many times people just assume that players love the city they play in.
