Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Career ending????? WTF?????

It's a chip...a very tiny chip...that's it.

Interesting to see these two quotes in the medical article:

There was some concern from RCF posters about why doctors didn't see the chip after the initial X-rays (e.g. why do we have lame doctors, or when did the chip occur) but it looks like this is common for these kinds of injuries. Now I'm glad the Cavs found the injury within the first few weeks (although it certainly looked like the injury was lingering with Z's faltering play). Better than waiting for it to become visible after several months!

From the medical course of action, it sounds like Z's bone chip is certainly not fully detached and hopefully it is very close to the bone and will heal back in place.

Soon.

I gues they saw it finally on the MRI, and if there is someone to blame is the Sixers doctors. :D I was under the impression that they could not do an MRI because of all the metal in his foot, but I guess it muct be titanium or something that is not magnetic.

Talus fracture??? Career ending????? WTF?????

It's a chip...a very tiny chip...that's it.

What the cavs front office is hiding is not that its a bone chip, but rather a computer chip. They decided to make Z the first bionic basketball player. In doing so, Z will be able to play with Lebron for the rest of Lebrons career insuring Lebron will resign since his friend and teammate that he loves to play with will be here for 15 years to come. He will be ready to play on his bionic limb after the all star break.

It might sound far fetched, but I based that on about as much fact as this being a Talus fracture. I got my medical degree out of the same cracker jack box as He did. Max, obviously you are not nearly as qualified to comment. You dont even eat cracker jax. :chuckles:

Looks like Heath likes multiple user accounts or his type of posting has some sort viral like character that spreads to others thru the corrupting power of the internet.

As fir comparing eric snow to vince carter....wow. Yes snow got old quick, but he lacked athleticism in his prime, could never shoot, and had a major knee injury. If VC has a knee injury, he is done also.

I wasn't comparing them, I was just using Snow as an example of a guard who actually lasted fairly long for us because what game he still had left when we got him didn't rely on athleticism. I'd say anyone in the 33-36 yr old range for a guard is suspect for losing their legs and most of their ability - it doesn't take a knee injury.

Wince is still just 31, so is more on the tail end of his prime years. Wince also didn't come in to the league until he was 22, so he doesn't have as much mileage as someone like Kobe who came in straight from highschool.

Think on the bright side... Z will be back in a month. During the month of him out, the Cavs are still good enough to win most of our games, and it gives more minutes to JJ and Darnell, and Andy gets to start, which he has been very good at.

This is a GREAT time for JJ to prove that he deserves to be in the rotation. I remember when Boobie didn't get many minutes at the beginning of the year, but starting around this time in the season, he started to see some minutes (like 10 MPG) and he really made the most of them, and in the playoffs, he made the most of his minutes too, and started to get like 30 MPG, and really come up big for the Cavs.

This stings so much, without z we have been just getting murdered on the glass. It was so painful watching us with our three guard lineup just getting manhandled giving up o board after o board.

Ben looked a little worn down himself today... he has been hustling all over the place and playing more minutes in the past two weeks, and I think it all caught up to him in Washington.

Slightly off-topic, but was I the only one who formed a little mini-mancrush on Dominic McGuire watching this game? For a second year player drafted late who has very little scoring ability, he can influence a game in very subtle ways.

Donyell Marshall sucks. The guy is not even on our team anymore and he is still ruining us.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've got a feeling he won't be back til the all-star break. Just a gut feeling. Updates have been few and far between.

As Max said earlier today, both Z and Delonte were seen at the Clinic today. We can probably expect an update during the pre-game. Or I could just lose my job and look up their medical records right now. :chuckles:

Z has been cleared to start rehab. West is out a month.
