So by firing Chris Grant, they fired the guy that Z was closest with within the organization. Z was the guy that brought LeBron back into Cleveland for the game because he was the guy LeBron was closest with.

And now the guy LeBron was closest with wants to leave the team people are so confident LeBron is going to join.

You guys will read that article in an entirely different way, but try to be objective here.

I think Gilbert got word that the LeBron is not coming back this offseason and he will for the Heat one more season. He felt he couldn't let Grant take on one more year of not improving the team for LeBron in 2015. Grant played the Rich Paul and Z angle but the main part of his plan failed. No Love, Aldrige, etc. and a team that doesn't work together.
 
There's no way Gilbert "got word of anything" regarding LeBron that led to Grant's firing, because LeBron wasn't deciding what he's gonna do in the offseason in fucking January.
 
I swore I saw Chris Grant at the ceremony too last night. Confirmation on that?
 
We cant afford for another relevant Cavs legend to not b with the franchise. Not having guys like Z and Price would be embarrassing.
 
Its becoming apparent that grant was fired to go black ops on the lebron safari. Now hes not affiliated he can sort it out. Then he creates a company for him and his mate Z using gilberts money and they become agents. So obvious:gap:

Really liked Z's speech and glad the cavs put forth the effort to show they are a class act, at least in terms of video production
 
Seeing the 3 Cavs owners Dan/Nate/Jeff, Chris Grant, Danny Ferry, Lebron, Delonte, Boobie, Fratello, AP and others standing in the hallway outside the locker room all talking was one of the funniest, awkward and most surreal things I've seen in a long time. :chuckles:

Saw this and literally gave me a fiery, overwhelmed, pissed off feeling.

Making this story about LeBron while taking a jab at our city all in one fell swoop. The title of the story on ESPN.com? "LeBron Makes Big Z's Jersey Retirement."

Would it kill them to have even one ounce of integrity? Ever?

Wow is all I can say about last nights celebration. Z is a true Clevelander and I feel blessed to be in attendance for the awesome ceremony. The crowd was electric and a unique buzz was in the air when it was going on. Hard to describe the feeling but it was flat out special. Love you Big Z
