How did I do? (Fantasy Football Draft)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I got my draft in 6 hours. I have no time to research it. Can someone point me to the best latest and greatest cheat sheet out there? PLEASE???

Also, who should I take 4th? :chuckles:

10 man, 0.5 PPR league - drafted #9.

QB - Ben Roethlisberger
RB1 - LeSean McCoy
RB2 - Matt Forte
RB/WR - Knowshon Moreno
WR1 - Calvin Johnson
WR2 - Miles Austin
TE - Jimmy Graham
K - Sebastian Janikowski
D - Browns (only for week 1 against Bengals)

Bench 1 - WR Stevie Johnson
Bench 2 - RB Tim Hightower
Bench 3 - RB CJ Spiller
Bench 4 - WR AJ Green
Bench 5 - WR Antonio Brown
Bench 6 - RB Montario Hardesty
Bench 7 - QB Colt McCoy

Graham @ TE - He ended the year strong with 4 TD in his last 3 regular season games. Went on a hunch w/ him instead of reaching for a TE.
I prefer to play waiver wire match ups with my defense on a weekly basis instead of wasting a pick on a "good" defense.

Drafted one of my leagues last night. I don't know if I like this team or not. I know my WRs are weak and my TEs have the same bye.

12 team, PPR, 6 points all TDs
Start 1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1TE, 1FLEX, K, DEF
Picking 10th

QB - Roethlisberger (5)
QB - Freeman (8)
RB - Mendenhall (1)
RB - Hillis (2)
RB - Bradshaw (3)
RB - Woodhead (11)
WR - D Bryant (4)
WR - Manningham (6)
WR - AJ Green (7)
WR - Ford (10)
WR - Roberts (15)
TE - Gronkowski (9)
TE - Hernandez (12)
K - Rackers (14)
Def - New Orleans (13)

I figure that I will be starting 3RBs depending on how AJ Green develops or how productive the NE TEs are. I also figure that one of those TEs will be trade bait in the near future.

I don't really care for Sproles, Tate, and Brown. But Maclin and Tolbert are great depth. You seriously have the Bills QB as a backup? There was nobody else lol?

Sproles gets sneaky points in ppr leagues and leagues that count return yards. He might only go for 4-5 catches, a few carries and double digit return yards on a bad day, but that adds up to a solid 6-10 points in our scoring format. If he blows up for a long touchdown, you are looking at a solid 12-20. I'll take that as my fifth running back.

With my last few roster spots, I figured I would go for boom or bust types. Taking Hines Ward or Ricky Williams means that yes, you have a solid end of the bench who won't blow up or exceed expectations, but will have value. Snooze. I'd rather take a few guys who have an outside chance at breaking the top 20 at their position if they get the playing time. I'm not counting on those draft positions to last with me all year unless something unexpected happens anyways.

The one thing I'd do differently is the Dallas defense pick. I probably took a backup defense too early when a solid backup WR like Malcolm Floyd was still on the board.

Ok. My league has a balanced scoring system. Receiving yards are 7yd/1pt with PPR. QB is 20/1 with 6pt TD. Defense is scored higher than most. A shutout is 30 points.

hey guys, did my draft, i missed the draft but think I got a decent team except my QBs

QBS - Eli Manning / Kevin Kolb
RBS - McCoy / S. Jackson / Forte / J Stewart / Fred Jackson / James Starks /
WRs - Roddy White / Dez Bryant / Jordy Nelson
TE - Dallas Clark
DEF - Giants
K - Rob Bironas

I picked 9th in a snake draft. have another one coming up tonight.

Just traded MJD and Roddy White for Arian Foster in a keeper league. We get to keep 3 guys and lose our top 3 draft choices if we keep anyone.

I will be keeping

Foster
Charles
Calvin Johnson

I know Foster may be hurt, but I can have these three guys over and over again. And in a PPR league, that's awesome.

I have no experience with fantasy football and I only recently started to follow the NFL, so I'd like some feedback on my draft, and some tips on what I should do with my roster. I'm playing in a twelve team league, and I'm guessing that it is a standard league. Oh, and I managed to miss the draft, so I guess it makes me the biggest amateur in the world of fantasy football.

QB - Matt Shaub (HOU)
RB - Michael Turner (ATL)
RB - Chris Johnson (TEN)
WR - Brandon Marshall (MIA)
WR - Percy Harvin (MIN)
TE - Brandon Pettigrew (DET)
W/R - Matt Forte (CHI)

BN - Mark Sanchez, QB (NYJ)
BN - Michael Bush, RB (OAK)
BN - Fred Jackson, RB (BUF)
BN - James Starks, RB (GB)
BN - Delon Branch, WR (NE)
BN - Chad Ochocinco, WR (NE)

K - Sebastian Janikowski (OAK)

DEF - Chicago Bears (?)

So how did I do, and what should I do? I'm ready to get blasted.

Who is this Matt Turner guy? Didn't he lead Shay's Rebellion? :gap:

Anyway, nice team. I smile upon drafting backup RBs and WRs predominantly. If all your backup receivers have the same bye week, you are going to be making some tough roster cuts at some point in the season.

Lol, I meant Michael Turner of course. Well, I will probably need a couple of weeks to understand every facet of the fantasy game.

Ok, who should I start as my second runningback Reggie Bush or Javid Best?

Yahoo has Bush projecting 15 Pts compared to 9 for Best. But Yahoo! is retarded. Both guys are the featured backs as far as I know... So what do you guys think?

It's a PPR league and both guys are cut from the same mold. I expect about 12 carries and maybe 5 receptions for both of them.

Tidbits O' da day:

1. Pick-up Randy Moss while you can. Yes sir.

2. I really think Arian Brotherhood Foster will be a big letdown this season for fantasy purposes.

Where is Moss headed?

I would start Javid Best until Reggie proves otherwise.
