I did not get to see the last game, unfortunately.
Today is the last regular season game for Canton. Then they will play in the playoffs starting on April 5, I think.
When I watched Sanders in his 2nd D-League game, his timing was still off in terms of reaction speed on help defense and defensive rotations. But that will come from just playing more. But even with his timing possibly off, he still can block shots and rebound.
I can't wait until he comes over to the team to stay. My guess is that they'd rather he actually play in games with Canton then either sitting him on the bench all game (as is happening with Felder now) or else trying to integrate him into games when there are other issues to fix right now.
When Windy talked about Sanders on Hey Windy the other day, I think he mentioned a timetable of like 3 weeks for Sanders to get back into the flow. I don't think that was some kind of "hard" number that someone told Windy, but just a guess. I don't know how long the Charge will be in the playoffs, so Sanders might not get 3 more weeks at the D-League level even if some Cavs' executives think that might be best for him.
