1 meal a day | only lost 3 lbs in the 2 weeks | Help

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
If youre at 260lbs that sounds about right ,but you have to consider your activity level in that equation

What you're doing is more than necessary, just watch the burnout from it. Should be losing a LOT of weight fast with all of that
Jesus.

Yeah man I just got done with 1 hour eliptical cardo(700 calories burned). Came home ate some ground beef with onion and spinach, took my multivitamin.

Going back to the gym around 5 to hit shoulders.

And yeah, I'm so gonna get burnt out from it lol.

Weight today : 260...lbs

Total weight loss = 35 lbs

Gotta go do cardio sometime today w/o music, sigh.

So cut out the cheese and bacon from my ground beef dinner. 400 calories 47 grams of protein from the ground beef (8oz), 1 onion(not sure how many cals, maybe 100?) and a LITTLE bit of ketchup.

Then canned chicken for like 200-400 calories with 50g of protein.

1-2 Whey shakes. ~80g of protein total

--- still not enough protein

Looks like I got to eat breakfast.

Well,

I did 30 minutes of cardio instead of 1 hour, but its better than nothing(still burned 370 calories). I got home and had some tuna.

Just woke up.

I am sooo sore lol.

Thinking of skipping weights today...but no way I GOTTA lift.

Weight : 259lbs before poop today =P (David was right, the weight is starting to fly off)

---

4:22 PM - I'm disappointed in my self I only did 30 min of cardio. Thinking of going back at night to do 30 more OR lift weights, not sure which I should do.

8:24PM - Did 30 min cardio. :D

I'm thinking of getting a construction job now. Instead of 2-3 months from now when I lose some weight and get in shape.

IDK, what should I do?

Leaning towards keep lifting weights/cardio while looking for a job...

Construction would be a fantastic job for losing weight. Or landscaping. That's how I have been losing weight over the last month.

Now all of a sudden it's too GD hot though

How much were you weighing when you started? and how much bf%? Has it been rough?

I've see-sawed a ton. My last big effort was to go from 226 to 190. Took like 6 months to lose most of it, then I was on and off for a while.

My discipline sucks, I let life stress get in the way of the gym.

So I went back up to like 212, now back down to 200 from diet and exercise (and landscaping since it's been nice).

No secret tips, just finding food substitutes so you don't get bored of eating the same thing all the time. And having discipline.

One big piece of motivation. The last ten pounds you lose will have twice the visual impact of the first ten. My favorite is the toilet paper analogy, if you take ten squares off a new roll, you can't tell the difference. But get to the end of the roll and you'll notice when ten squares are gone

The cool thing is you're still able to work out after your job. I don't think that will be the case for me, at least at the start.(I'll be sore from work)

And that piece of motivation is actually pretty good!

3:22PM - Did shoulders/traps

Dumbbell shoulder press 3x10
Lat raises 3x10
Front raises 3x10
Shrugs 3x12

I can feel my self getting stronger =D

Cardio in a couple hours ;)

7:42PM: Only 30 min cardio today because I have to be up at 5am and freaked out.

Planning on going to the sauna everyday starting tomorrow.

May 31 st - 5:29AM - Just woke up, had my morning coffee and cigarette...going to the gym at 6AM to hit Chest/Tris and 20 min of sauna.

7:19: Did chest/tris and went to the sauna... cardio later

I've been cooking on avocado oil, and just realized 1 tablespoon is 120 calories. ROFL

Nice dude. So according to some popular YT video my maintance calories are 3,600 LMAO no way thats true. I'm eating like 1500-1800 a day and now will do 1 hr of cardio which burns 700.

All healthy food of course.

I'm gonna have to do two a days to get a lifting session in too.

If you’ve never done it, you should search for a BodPod near you. It’s this eggshell looking contraption that measures body composition via air displacement. Pretty cool and more accurate way to measure body fat, lean muscle, etc.

it’ll also give you an estimate of the calories your body burns in a day just to exist. For a lot of people it’s around 1800-2200 calories, but it all depends on body composition. It’s just something that’s interesting to know, and you might need to eat more or less depending on what you find.

Also, as some have mentioned, eating too little can have the opposite of the intended effect. Basically, if you’re not eating enough, your body starts to look for alternate fuel sources. This typically is the breaking down of muscle tissue. Since muscle burns fat, eating at an extreme deficit can be counterproductive if you’re not careful.

Like olive oil, avocado oil is a healthy fat. If you put one tablespoon of avocado oil in a pan you aren’t getting all of it in your food.

Also, if I remember correctly avocado oil has a high smoke point. You can ingest a lot of toxins from burnt cooking oils, so avocado oil helps prevent that.

I worked out at 5 am and man my back/arms are sore af. And my abs are sore and I didn't even work out abs. It's 3 PM right now and I gotta go back at some point to do cardio...

Sub 201, started 210.

Doing a modified fasting deal lol, I'll have a huge cheat meal that will put me maybe at maintenance maybe under, and then the next day I just have a super cut day and finish 1500-2000 under maintenance and it's working well for me

Idk if it's the bronkaid or not but I really do not need food
