Cut Miles, sign Neal. Makes way too much sense.

I disagree, I like Miles better for this team. We tend to be very hard on him (though plenty of the criticism is justified and also hilarious), but purely as a long-distance shooter, Miles outpaced Neal with a 51.8% eFG and 38.9% from three on 8.7 attempts per 36 minutes compared to Neal's 48.7% eFG and 35.5% from three on 6.2 attempts per 36 minutes.

Miles still has some shot-selection issues and isn't a good mid-range shooter, but I'd rather have him than Neal who is also a gunner and doesn't help us get bigger on the wing.

The Milwaukee Bucks have waived Gustavo Ayon. (if the Cavs aren't bringing back Kevin Jones, min contract?)

We should grab Ayon. Am in the ORL media market and have seen play and my take is that his a serviceable rotational big. Does nothing exceptionally well but can handle himself in all aspects of the game.

With our big man rotational hinging on Bynum and AV; I would claim him for the added depth.

Definitely. He's better than Zeller in a lot of ways.

Current speculation is that Ayon won't make it through waivers. His contract is small enough next year ($1.5M) for some team to pick up.

From Kevin Pelton: Most likely to claim Ayon, in waiver order: PHI, UTA, GSW, LAC. ATL and CLE could also make it happen but unlikely.

Crazy that kind of talent is getting let go for the 2014 crapshoot. Goose made some noise at the end of last year, thought he'd get a nice deal from NO. I'd definitely snap him up if he makes it thru waivers, I don't know about the 2nd yr though.

2013 Salary: $1,500,000
2 years remaining

Just one year (2013-2014) according to shamsports and hoopshype. 2013-2014 was a team option, which the Bucks have declined/waived.

Do we need him in our rotation of bigs? Or do we look at it as an opportunity to acquire cheap talent in case Bynum and AV can't remain healthy and if they do look at trade deadline? I like him as a player, looked good last year prior to getting hurt early in season

Clippers just signed Byron Mullens, I would assume that means no Ayon, yes?

So you just copied a tweet from RCF onto RCF?

I think your irresponsibility created a tear in the universe somewhere.

I have actually noticed that Ben tweets info that never finds the regular board from time to time.
Kind of curious as to who they have interest in at this point. Is it a undrafted rookie from another team's sl? A vet (not much left) or possibly a under the radar international player?

Lol yeah kinda funny. But at the same time, there's been no mention of that tweet or anything related to it on here until ajz20 posted it. I appreciate that he did since I don't use twitter.

Add a player in the next few weeks? And water is wet. When the money completely dries up, I'm sure the Cavs will be able to snag a vet for a low price. Someone like Anthony Tolliver, someone we had interest in last year.
