DJ on 1st team seems absurd but there are NO viable Cs.

Feel bad for Millsap. Felt like he earned a spot but F is pretty nasty. Dray should have been 1st team C and it would have fallen better. I KNOW he got a lot of C votes considering how many 1st, 2nd votes there were for the Cs...

Kyle LOLry with more undeserving accolades.

All 3 centers that made it are better centers than Draymond. No way should he have been 1st team center.

Haha, no Harden on first, second, or third team...

In a 27, 7, and 6 season? Nobody respects his game... Lol

That All-NBA First Team is actually respectable voting.

Who are the four pricks that voted LeBron 2nd team?

Draymond Green, Steph Curry, Andrew Bogut, and Andre Igodola

They have been granted voting rights since they already treat the NBA as a playground

Houston Rockets will hire Mike D'Antonio as head coach.

...let that sink in for a second...

"Howard made it known during his courtship that he wanted to play with his back to the basket in a slower-moving offense. He eschewed Lakers coach Mike D’Antonio’s up-tempo system, so the Rockets will certainly adjust their team and approach and slow things down.

Still, Howard has thrown up enough warning signs to signal that whether his massive talent is worth all the crap that comes with him remains an open question. Stan Van Gundy, Kobe Bryant, Mike Brown, D’Antoni, Steve Nash — it is a long and diverse list of players and coaches who have not exactly found Howard and his approach to basketball particularly easy to deal with. Or, lately, win with."

Guess the means Dwight is bye-bye. I always hear the rumor about him going to the Mavericks. I could see him going to the Bulls or Heat assuming they lose Noah and Whiteside respectively.

But who in their right mind wants to pay him? That is the real question. Teams want to sign up for his problems for 20+ mil?

The Mavs aren't going to sign him. Dirk has voiced his feelings on Dwight and Cuban will listen.

The list of suitors appears non-existent. Which is why he has waged his PR campaign. I don't know that it's working...

Dwight wants a full 10Y veteran's max contract, AFAIK? Unless he no longer considers himself a max player?

What team has the cap space and willingness to sign him for that kind of money (~$30M+)?

Is Philly still looking to tank or are they done with that phase of the rebuild? Dwight could really contribute to that process if given an opportunity.

That would be insane. 20+ mil for him is even crazy in my mind. I'm thinking like he is worth more like 15 mil on a prove it contract. Obviously many players are paid more than they are worth, but I just don't see many teams thinking it's worth it.

Maybe bigger markets that can market him and could use an extra piece or two to make a better playoff push. Which gets me thinking, maybe a team like Boston? Portland? Atlanta? Indiana? I guess there a few teams that might want him if he can resurrect his career. But what they would be willing to pay will be interesting.

Biyombo is probably getting 15-18m. DeRozan is going to get 30m. At some point Dwight has significant value. Its just not going to be for 30m or for 4 years.

Agreed.

DeRozan is going to get 30m.

Really? From who?

I mean, I'm not even that much of a critic of DeRozan's game, and I highly doubt Toronto agrees to a max deal, or would be naive enough to overvalue a player who is overperforming in a contract year.

I just don't know if teams would gamble that kind of money on a player with such a non-stellar track record.

Right, but what value?

I wish the NBA didn't give so many ballots to media guys that really don't know basketball. Like, for example Fred McCleod has a vote. The guy obviously isn't watching many games other than Cavs broadcasts that he's busy hosting and producing. Nice guy, but these awards affect people's contracts. You just end up with weird results.

Draymond green is going to Bruce lee knockout someone soon
