2016-2017 Around The NBA

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
For some strange reason I feel this might be a two seed of Cavs VS Spurs this finals. It makes to much sense at this point. Anyone else get this vibe? If any team beat the Cavs in the finals I would rather be the Spurs then the Coward nut kicking princess Warriors.

According to twitter, Smart was openly rooting for Miami in front of the press. Does he not remember getting his ass handed to him a week ago IN Boston. Go ahead Celtics, think home court solves everything and everyone will be laughing when you don't even make the conference finals or lose in 5.

Yea I think the Wizards will beat the Celts.

There's just no way to get around the Celtics lack of rebounding. It'll be such a tough thing for them to overcome in a 7 game series against a decent team.

No I don't. The Warriors are going to roll over the Spurs.
Decent chance Houston gets hot and takes the Spurs out

I'm really low on the Spurs. I think the Jazz have a better chance against the Warriors than the Spurs

Spurs are a good RS team.. I don't have much confidence in them with Porker starting.

I think I'm starting to agree with this, they're a good regular season team but they don't have what it takes to make it out of the west with this roster, Aldrige is the #1 reason why they won't make it imo, this guy shrinks up in big games but they keep feeding him the ball and posting him up basically throwing possessions away.

Hes just not that guy, he puts above average regular season numbers but he will be exposed in the playoffs again imo

I like what they are doing with Gasol though. Backup bigs can't really guard him when he comes off the bench.
In the starting lineup he was redundant... If we magically face the Spurs, we really lack the personnel to guard both Aldridge and Gasol.

When we first played them, our starters completely destroyed their starters and Gasol wasn't really features in the offense, but their bench destroyed our bench completely. If you make Gasol your primary option against backup Bigs he is going to be very good as a rebounder, scorer and even a rim protector.

Think the Jazz might get punched in the mouth in the first round. They'd have been so much better off against Houston than a suddenly remembered how to play basketball Clippers imo.

Yeah I think the Clippers may ruin everything like they always do, but I would love to see a Utah Golden State series. I really think Utah could put up a fight. They're strong in all the right areas needed to beat GSW.

So the Warriors' likely post-season match-ups if it started today:

Portland -> Utah/LA Clippers -> San Antonio/Houston

Phew. That's some serious work. All the relatively better teams in the conference. Know what that means?

Golden State is going to be razor sharp heading into the finals

Damn, you were driving the Celtics train all year.

I agree, obviously.

I even think there's a real chance the Celtics lose in the 1st round depending on opponent unless refs keep doing their thing with Touch Fouls™
