None of these guys is going to give us a better chance to win it all unless other major trades are made. Cavs are going to have to make some strong swings on the trade front and hope for the best.

I think Wade and Gasol would absolutely belp. Gasol is the best option - signing him and dealing Love for wing could significantly improve the team.

Gasol yes. I doubt he comes here, but that would be a nice addition.

Would Pau Gasol take less to come here? I just don't know. If he wants to win badly I could see it, but if he did come here the Cavs could work the phone lines and try to acquire Butler somehow.

Kyrie
Butler
James
Gasol
Thompson

Good size all around, the floor stays spaced minus the three point shot Love brought, and the Cavs get better defensively on the perimeter.

Very hard seeing Gasol coming here, however. If he did.. It opens up a lot of other options the Cavs can have heading into the summer.

Can someone tell me who Gasol would guard if we play GSW in the Finals again? Especially when they go small.

His addition does nothing for us in that matchup.

Same guy Love is guarding? Don't think we'd see much of a drop off in terms of a defensive match up there.

His addition would actually be extremely beneficial if the Cavs were to decide to swing a deal for a guard instead of a big man in exchange for Love, if of course they go that route of trading him.

Like the David West situation last summer, you take a veteran big man who can still be productive at a cheap rate, it's really a no-brainer.

I think a guy like Jamaal Crawford could do wonders for this team. Excellent scoring option off the bench and a guy who can go out and get his own shot.

Perfect fit here actually However all he would do is fill JRs spot If JR is gone. I really how no idea what will happen this off season assuming the worst we all kinda know but when and IF we lose the finals.

Do everything necessary to try and convince Wade to come here. I don't think he'll do it. I think he's a Miami lifer at this point and if he was gonna do it, last summer was the summer. But whatever it takes.

I'm wondering if there is a superstar player who will take a gamble, like LeBron, on a young roster that hasn't won anything.

Because if I were Durant, I'd think real long and hard about hitching my wagon to KAT in Minnesota.

I thought that NO would perhaps be a destination for KD to consider in the past. NO has fucked up their situation royally though and Davis has been injured quite frequently.

Interesting idea, but not a move he should make this Summer. Roll with OKC for another year and see how KAT & company do in the process.

I don't know how you guys think Pau will help. Lots of Bulls fans complained about his defense and softness

Yeah not a fan of Pau for us at all, terrible fit.

I think coming off the bench and providing some scoring would be nice. If it's for a vets min (sounds like he just wants to win), then it would be an EZ decision to go for him.

Pau has lost most of his foot speed for sure, but he can still protect the rim. As a backup C/spot starter, he'd be great, especially with what he still provides on offense.

Yes, he would not be a great matchup for Golden State...but the league does not revolve around them anymore. Plus, again, Pau would just be filling a role here. Essentially replacing Mozgov if we let him walk. Mozgov didn't play against the Warriors and we still won..

Does the vet minimum number go up when the cap goes up? I feel like it's going to be harder than ever to get guys to agree to that with all the money that's going to be available this summer.
