Problem is he was hurt this season, so his value is down. I mean we could get something for him in a trade and I know what I would target but his value is down this season.

Also if Santana resigns/takes the QO it’s to play with his current team mates and not because it’s the best offer. I think trading Kipnis would hurt the locker room at the end of the day

After this season when a good portion of this roster hits free agency, then we could trade him, but part of me feels that would be a bad idea. On paper it would be smart to but in real life I feel trading him would be a bad idea.

Bottom of the 9th, World Series, tied, what did he do? dude is just a choke artist.
Analytically he's a very good player when healthy- I fully understand that.
My problem with him is the eye test when I watch him.
 
Santana and Lindor flied out in the bottom of the 9th too. My eye test says we should let Santana walk and trade Lindor immediately. Can't have choke artists on this team. Trade Ramirez too since he grounded out Bottom 10, that guy stinks.

He hit .290 in that series, but sure, one AB.

Royals extending QO's to Hosmer, Moustakas, and Cain.
 
Is there actually any chance he accepts that QO?
 
Man, I really hope by some miracle he takes it. But I know he won't. :/
