There was a rumor somewhere saying it’s possible Baez for Salazar, but that could be a writers own analyst perspective without actual proof

It’s how we signed Michael Bourn as well years ago! That didn’t end up being a good signing long term, but was herald as one at the time. I think tho once Hosmer and/or Santana signs, it will set the market for the position

Indians are feeling teams out on value for Salazar. I don't think they deal them. As someone mentioned earlier, the team does this every year. The Cubs really like Salazar which is a reason I don't move him. Too much talent to give up for a solid player. You need all star level talent in return for Salazar.
