2017-2018 Around the NBA

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I don't think they are more or less vulnerable than last year. However, I think @Rich brought up a great point recently that Draymond isn't flying around the floor defensively the way he has in the past, and that brings their defensive intensity down several notches.

I'm of the opinion that this is simply the Warriors easing up in the regular season due to mental fatigue. However, if it's not... a door could open.

They were hungray as hell last year because of the 3-1 stuff. This year they look more like us last year. I hope they continue to coast and are caught offguard

Chicago or Sac getting a win tonight to there name. Praying Atlanta can play like they have against us this season against Brooklyn tomorrow and get the win. Collins getting injured doesn’t help them but Atlanta have enough to beat Brooklyn

Warriors have now dished out at least 40 assists in a game five times since the beginning of the 2015-16 season. Prior to that they had not tallied 40 assists in a game since 1994.

Root for Sacramento. Chicago isn't jumping Brooklyn, but there's still hope for the Kings.

I agree that Chicago's chances are slim, but keep in mind they're getting two solid players back from injury momentarily in LaVine and Mirotic.

I don't think that matters much, if at all.

T'Wolves give OKC all they can handle yet again. It took Adams playing like a HOF tonight to eek out the win after losing another double digit lead in the 2nd half.

They're arguably two of the Bulls five best players, at worst, so I certainly think they'll make the Bulls better. Agree that it probably doesn't matter though, because the Bulls have been *so* bad that a modest improvement won't result in many additional wins.

Anthony Davis is going to have to go into the Blake Griffin category soon, which is sad.

Yeah. Just don't know why he can't seem to stay healthy.

Unrelated, Donovan Mitchell is a STUD. I know it sucks to lose Hayward, but it's gotta be nice to have Gobert and Mitchell to build around.

Has to get his efficiency up. But he can score. Not sure what he is, position wise, but he can score. Reminds me of Monta Ellis a bit.

Last summer I was thinking Kyrie for Rubio+Mitchell+pick would be an interesting option. Initial reaction was that the Cavs did even better with the Boston trade, but now with how well Mitchell's doing, I'm not so sure. Would've been amazing to have him here.

Oh, he'll get there. He's such a polished scorer already and he has a good looking shot. He's also a better passer than he gets credit for.
