Kyrie and Shump for

Jabari, Middleton, thon, delly

That's my dream. I think Milwaukee would think about it. I think they have their doubts about paying Parker big money after this year.

Lmfao...let it go man... OKC isn't trading PG in the middle of the season when they are a fourth seed...now if Westbrook were to get injured then maybe...but are the Cavs trading Love who would be putting up big numbers in this scenario for possibly a half year of PG13?

They should only do it if they get a commitment from Paul George to stay.

Ok gotcha... I doubt that is something George ever does without LBJ as a FA and unwilling to committ

Brogdon instead of Delly and I would do it. Think Middleton is so underrated and Thon & Brogdon a lot up upside. Jabari with the injuries a big question mark, but would take this trade in a heartbeat.

Lowkey I bet Love is excited about Kyrie getting traded and getting to have a bigger role. The guy deserves it with everything he's sacrificed the past three years.

How does this make Milwaukee better?

Lebron might be willing to commit if the Irving trade is done first, such that the Love-George trade is the last move to achieve a George-Lebron-Josh Jackson defensive core to match up against Golden State. With that foundation, Lebron could see trading a bunch of bench players and a Suns pick for Melo as nice but not necessary.

Any one else feel that if we can get 2 rock solid wing defenders where one is at a minimum an All-Star offensively (or All-NBA) + a draft pick or young solid prospect (with upside on D and offense) then we're coming out of this alright.

There's no reason for the Cavs not to come out of this alright. If a trade doesn't make the team better, or at the minimum as good as before, then you just keep him. They're under no pressure to deal him right now.

Yep, an example of a winning trade would be Rudy Gobert, Jaylen Brown, and Patrick Beverly. The trick is going to be finding that secondary asset where the team giving it up isn't the same team getting back Irving. If you can get both the primary and secondary asset returns from the same team, then things become that much easier.

There's extreme pressure. He's a ticking time bomb. The team has barely any face left to save, the organization is in disarray, now their star player next to Lebron is asking to leave. Only way to stay afloat is trade him and get as much as they can in return as soon as they can.

What's the other option? Leave him on the team, a disgruntled player? Morale of the team is already incredibly low and shakey to begin with.

It gives them a legit running mate to put next to giannas. And just like with Lebron, kyrie can help hide a lot of his shooting weaknesses. Middleton is the big loss here for Milwaukee but they just resigned snell and they're getting Shump who can do similar things. Plus this helps them avoid the tax in the future when Jabari's deal comes up.

I disagree. If he whines and pouts all next year on the way to his 4th straight finals while leading the team in shots like last year then it makes him look like a little bitch. If he plays self-destructively then you bench him. If we land a quality back pg then we're fine for the regular season. There's no reason to trade him right now unless we get back equal value. Like others have said, we can trade him now, we can trade him at the deadline, we can trade him next offseason, or we can trade him at next year's deadline. The Cavs have the leverage.

@priceFTW I believe the Lebron/Love combo has been extremely effective combo thru the years. Cavs are going to the Finals next sans Irving if they get some sort of decent return for him. The problem is we need a blockbuster to have a shot at beating GS one last time before Lebron leaves or breaks down. I'm a bit sanguine about him leaving frankly because his wheel are going to come off at some point so IMO we've been living year to year to get a title.
