Hard hitting coverage... of your eyes.
If the Seahawks are really interested in trading Richard Sherman than the Browns should be all over that.
Depends on the system Williams wants to run. Sherman is strongest in zone, especially Cover 3. Seahawks use it more than most teams, usually staying away from man coverage. Is that what Williams wants?
Sherman traveled against all the top WR's though. He's also really good in man coverage when they play it.

Hell no we shouldn't. We don't need a 29 year old CB. Those decline dramatically. We need someone who will be around 4-5 years.
Or you can have both. Trading for Sherman won't stop us from drafting a to CB in this draft.
Or you could...not trade assets for a 29 year old CB who won't be helping this team in two years when his contract is up.
Sherman doesn't rely on athleticism like other elite CB's do. I also don't think the assets that will be needed to acquire him will be that substantial. At best it would be a future 2nd. Most likely scenario is a 3rd round pick. Annnnd we can and probably still would take a CB with one of our first 5 picks. I just don't see his game falling off like most people keep projecting. I like the idea of having an elite CB playing opposite of Haden.
View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CS-lzofVQ0AThe Seahawks want a high pick and player in exchange, per reports. So it doesn't appear you'd be on board for that.
Nor would I, but I don't see why Seattle would let him go for a 3rd rounder.
It doesn't appear to make any sense.
