2017 Cleveland Browns Defense

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Yo, if we are doing undrafted guys, it's Josh Cribbs, hands down.

Or maybe Crow.

That Pro Bowl season gets a huge asterisk because it included a 4-interception melt-down against the Bengals on December 23rd in Cincinnati that cost us the playoffs. I was at that game. My balls still start freezing when I think about it.

I hate Derek Anderson. Hate him.

He quarterbacked easily the most exciting offense since the return to the NFL. So, in my lifetime. Hard to hate the guy, it's not like he was trying to lose. He just wasn't that good.

Anthony Henry was the 4th rounder. McCutcheon was 3rd round

I'm surprised I can remember anything from 18 years ago. Oh well, still a good pick.

Brian Robiskie was a fart in the wind.

Very bad in 2014-15 but rebounded in 2016 to be the 55th ranked CB by PFF with a grade of 74.1

I would mostly throw out 2015 since he only played 4 games.

But here's a fun fact...

The two worst years of Jason McCourty's career by far were under the incredible tutelage of Ray Horton.

McCourty said in his interview today that Jamie Collins went to work on selling the City to him. Collins clearly can't wait to get out of Cleveland. :chuckle:

So when is the bitch's name getting released and when is she getting charged?

Part of me says it hasn't been since Brantley wants to just get this over with and of that's the Final decision, then we just got a steal in the draft for this defense since he would have gone day 2 if these allegations weren't put over his head.

We happen to have a young DLine outside of Bryant, but it could be really good since they are big and athletic. Our LBs are solid, we have some issues with our DBs in my mind still, but if that DLine can live up to there potential, it's quite possible that can cut down on the amount of time a QB has to make decisions

Maybe she should learn to handle her booze and not assault a 300 pound man

To get off the Brantley story for a second, I think a lot of people are being lazy when they say that Peppers is going to play like Mark Barron did for the Rams.

Barron didn't *really* play a hybrid role with the Rams. They moved him permanently to weakside linebacker in their base (nickel) defense.

That role is going to be played on the Browns by Jamie Collins, not Peppers.

The better Rams to Browns comparison for Peppers is Lamarcus Joyner IMO. A guy who sees snaps at SS and nickel corner.
