I thought the investigative team was simply presenting their findings, not recommending action?
This meeting is about personnel actions, I’ve been told.

As in, what to do with them? This meeting is about personnel actions, I’ve been told.

The chances of a suspension being a fair & just punishment are pretty damn slim here.If he gets anything more than time served it’s BS and I wouldn’t blame Urban if he didn’t accept it
I'm sure he does. A quick google search shows some history between him & Meyer. Dude was in Meyer's living room in 2014 when the playoff teams were announced..Yep.
I don’t think it will be much. Knowing Thamel he probably already has an idea.

By multiple accounts I've read, Urban truly believes he did nothing wrong (and expects a full reinstatement). In hindsight, it's difficult to imagine him making this statement otherwise:

That’s what I’m saying. Myself, an outsider who doesn’t pay a lot of attention to OSU sees this as Urban not doing the “right” thing.I don't agree with your viewpoint, but I do think your viewpoint will be shared by the staff - basically that the optics of it alone and media attention are bad enough that they just want to distance the University from it. Only way to do that in the eyes of the media and de-risk any blowback from the Me-Too crowd is to clean house. Everyone would have their pound of flesh and it would end it. Zach Smith, the guy who actually did something, isn't enough - they will want to take down the big fish and that's Urban Meyer.
I think that's a huge mistake, and will create a trickle down effect of other problems (not to mention they will literally have to pay Urb $40 mill) but it is what it is.

Either he did what he needed to or he didn't. There just isn't much middle ground. Suspending him over toys or pictures or because the police may not have done a good job is lunacy. It would take one hell of a spin from Ohio State to sell a suspension to the public considering nobody would be happy with it.
Suspending him is probably the worst possible outcome of this. And it also leaves the door open on this whole thing.
Unless the infidelity occurred on campus/in the football facilities, that'd be absurd. That's assuming he even knew about it, of course. My speculation, but I think the suspension is going to come in some form of a “moral clause” that states Meyer knew of Smiths infidelity within the athletic department in 2015, and then resigned him when he simply could’ve let him walk that offseason.

Imagine if your daughter was getting beat up by Smith and you knew Urban knew, but just “followed” protocol. And continued to let this POS work with young men over and over. Truth be told, Urban should have just let the dude go and not lied at media day. Him lying and saying he knew nothing was a bold face lie and makes him look like he’s covering up or hiding something. It is always about optics, times are different. You have to prove innocence now, not prove guilt.

Word is there are pictures and video of the affair on school grounds with the former lady who was there working. She has been reassigned to a different department as of last year.Unless the infidelity occurred on campus/in the football facilities, that'd be absurd. They would present findings and their recommendation and the BoT can from this make their decision.I thought the investigative team was simply presenting their findings, not recommending action?
