I mean, he has to speak on it on Monday regardless. He's just getting out ahead of some of the nonsense.

The fact that 99% of the media still thinks he got suspended for covering up DV is just sad.

And you have people like Zack Smith, Gene Smith's lawyer and the trustee who just resigned keeping the story in the cycle. Ignoring it so far has allowed the media to go with negative headlines and embellishments unchecked. If it ain't going, perhaps restating the facts isn't a bad strategy.

The media will spin it (or make ongoing attempts) and say he’s in denial of why he was suspended or something and how he has no empathy for the victim and how he still doesn’t get it.

I think he needs to be used alot like Duke Johnson. I actually wouldn't mind Braxton as Dukes backup for the Browns. I think they could come up with creatvie ways to use both of them and keep defense guessing.

Meyer won’t meet with the media probably until Sept.17, the first working day of the week headed toward the home game with Tulane when he first will be allowed to return to the sideline. Day and defensive coordinator Schiano are scheduled again to answers questions from the media Monday.

Didn’t watch the game.

Anyone want to fill me in on how we allowed 31 points? I think I saw that they had some really big plays. What areas of the D need improvement? Where were the lapses? Was it backups that let up most of that? How was the defensive coaching as far as player preparation and play calling?

I am not worried just love hearing insight from the buckeye faithful.

Safeties (and LBs) took some awful angles to the ball. As part of the above stat, Ore St had 3 TDs and 200yds on 3 plays. Not terribly worried about it right now. Getting Fuller back would help too.

Offense looked great, but Ore St was pretty bad defensively.

Not a whole lot to take away, IMO, other than Haskins looked good against bad competition.
