2018 Draft Prospects Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
How come Rudolph isn't talked about more? 6'5 and Insanely good number too. Numbers just because of the system and offense they run?

Remind me a lot of Ryan Mallett.

Dude is a statue in the pocket.

Rudolph is fine when he doesn’t have to do ANYTHING except 1-2-3-4-5 plant throw.

Change anything from that formula. Move him off his spot in any way, and he’s trash.

Rudolph is a good guy. Has no character issues. He's like bizarro Mayfield in that realm. FCA type of guy.

HOWEVER.

Saw him in person. System and Oklahoma State having guys like James Washington (DRAFT HIM PLEASE), and Marcell Ateman to chuck the rock at? Helped him look really good. Those guys are studs.

He's a guy I would draft if he were available later on to see if you could toy around with him. I wouldn't take him in the first 3 or 4 rounds though.

edit: it's a damn shame too. because if that video were Rosen, Darnold, or Mayfield? You had best believe I would be going "there's your franchise qb".

Interesting to see how free agency can shape some of the plans in rounds 2 and 3.

I would hope at minimum
You sign a vet wr, vet safety, vet qb, and a vet o linemen since this not a deep o line draft.
I personally would look at trying to get a corner too, and if I still had money s d tackle that had some pass rush ability from the inside.

That type of activity won’t put as much pressure on the rookies to carry this team right away.
I would hope that from the top 5 picks in rounds one and two, about three are starting from dAy one, but allare active and geting reps from the start of the season.

Yes we have a poor head coach, but yesterday reminded me that we are still two drafts away from being a “good team”
If sucks to hear but there is still a lot of spots to fill, and it is probably going to take two good drafts and two free agent classes to put a roster out there that can win more than 7 games.

Their mock has Minkah at #5

If we were to draft Saquon, what would that mean for Duke? I feel like Saquon's best complement would be a power back like Crow, but obviously I'd rather not pay him what he wants.

Of course this can change depending on what is done in FA, but right now with the first 5 picks I'm going QB,FS, RB/WR, WR/RB (whoever wasn't picked at #33), and CB. And that is operating under the assumption that we still bring in a decent WR at minimum in FA. Need to get a guy groomed for when Gordon or Coleman inevitably go down/get suspended/leave/get traded. I'm tired of WR being an issue and I want it fixed once and for all.

I think regardless of who the coach is, the Browns are likely going to be more aggressive than we’ve seen in previous free agency periods.

I could see them dropping 1 or 2 HUGE contracts out there.

I'm about tired of the Sashi talk, but don't you think signing Collins and Zietler was aggressive? I believe each of them were among the top 5 highest paid at their positions at the time of signing.

Collins was an extension, so that doesn’t *really* count towards what I was referring to even though it was big money. Same with Bitonio.

I think you could see multiple Zeitler-level signings though. At least two guys from new teams getting 35M+ in guaranteed money.

This would infuriate a lot of people.

Not sure this is the year to take a LT with other holes and JT probably coming back for 2 years or so.

If JT is retiring, and of course I would not be mad if he does, then we need to seriously consider taking his replacement.
