2019 Browns Off Season/Roster Discussion

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Under no circumstance do you ever pay $12-14 million/year for a 30 year old slot corner.

You can keep arguing for it, it’s not going to make you any more correct.

What if a gun was to your head and if you didn't sign him to a 14 mill a year contract, people are going to die?

So this is a very real situation and why you never say absolutes.

Darkness is a sith

Solomon Thomas being shopped, reportedly.

Cap numbers of about 3mil and 4mil the next 2 years if dealt. SF would eat 9mil if traded. I am guess if they're going to eat that much, they'd want a good pick. But if not, he'd be solid depth.

He's better than Billy Price and Carl Davis, but I don't think he's that good.

Total NFL Bust.

No secret there, he isn't aggressive enough as an undersized three tech yet he really isn't an end either. I wouldn't bother. The Niners scouts should rent not buy. They haven't been impressive at all under Lynch.

This is a luke warm take but I really question whether or not the Ravens would be division champs under different circumstances.

Feels like they caught Pittsburgh at a point within their franchise where divisions within their locker room were rather rampant.

Cincinnati just felt 'off" to the point where they actually fired Marvin Lewis.

With us? Well...You started the season with Hue Jackson as head coach. Then you know...wound up having the franchise seemingly "grow up" during it.

Next season?
It's probably fair to say that Pittsburgh will likely contend for the division. While I don't know if they have talent comparable to Antonio Brown and Leveon Bell on the roster at this given moment? They always seem to find it. Wouldn't stun me if James Washington Jr. and/or JuJu Smith Schuster wind up picking up the slack. Their defense is a revolving door of roided up types so there's no concern there. They still have the damn sex offender there as well and he is only behind Brady in terms of accolades.

I'm unsure about the Bengals. I'm not sold on that head coach but it's the NFL and you never know.

With us? Well...everyone is already aware.

It's why I really struggle with this hype for them. I could be completely wrong. Maybe Lamar Jackson learns how to pass thus making him some even deadlier version of Michael Vick meets John Elway meets Steve Young.

But I am struggling a bit to see that.

Juju had 111 catches for 1426 yards. What more "slack" could he make up to off-set the loss of arguably the best WR in football?

If Lamar Jackson doesn't evolve, the Ravens could be the worst team in the division.

Regarding the Browns winning the Division in 2019?
