2019 Draft Prospects Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Pray to whomever it is you pray to.

But short of missing the off-season training and workouts, where he wouldn't be able to show recovery, I don't see how he isn't a Top 5 pick on film alone.

With the way things are going, don't see how we don't end up with one of:

Greedy Williams
Greg Little
Devin White
AJ Brown

That's pretty damn tasty.

He'll stay another year, but James Williams from Wash St...

James White 2.0. Absolute monster short route runner as a back. Just eats people alive.

Anyone in here ever try Pop Rocks with soda? Does it actually cause your stomach to explode?

How is our OLine at the moment rating wise for each position? I think this is an important factor for the draft since if it isn't good, we gotta go get someone like Greg Little and really make it good!

I don't have profootballfocus or anything like that so I kind of need a bit of help getting the info, but I feel that is a deciding factor for me for next years draft!

At the moment, I think we need to get more talent on offense aka another good WR, better talent on the OLine, depth at RB, I feel after the first round or so, its going to be a BPA almost the entire draft in 19. LT and WR currently would be my first two rounds.

An interior DL who can bring pressure would be great.

But as I see it, the single most urgent need is a top end WR. We simply must get one if we're going to take advantage of Mayfield's skills, because as of right now, there is nobody who gives us a true mismatch to throw the defense off balance. That is absolutely killing our offensive potential.

That has to be filled via free agency, trade, or the draft. Give Mayfield a true No. 1, and our offense could become elite.

Top end WR would be great but I don’t even think it’s necessary.

Right now we have a really good slot/shorter WR in Jarvis. Then we have two decent catch radius guys who are both injured(Higgins/Willies)

Baker is throwing to a WR core that short of Jarvis has a bunch of guys who currently should be 5th, 6th, or PS players.

I think if you even just give Baker a WR room full of Higgins types, he can excel.

For that reason, I still think you go WR in round 2-4 area, unless you think you have an absolute AJ Green/Julio Jones/Calvin Johnson staring you in the face in the too10

Just take player available that isn't a QB.

I don't care if it's OT, DE, DT, CB or WR. Figure out who the top rated player is on your board and pick that player. Worry about the positional fit later.

Do you have the stats for how our OLine is doing? I agree that the draft will be mostly BPA

Not sure how we get a roomful of Higgins types in one off-season.

The problem is that if you're picking a WR in rounds 2-4, the odds of missing and not getting even a Higgins type are higher. And if we miss...we're right back where we are today.

Unless we pick up a WR stud in free agency. Otherwise...I can't be the only one who sees that the current crop just isn't enough.

I read this recently:

https://www.profootballfocus.com/news/pro-week-5-nfl-offensive-line-rankings

I'm sure the numbers have changed quite a bit in the past few weeks, but the comparison to other teams is useful. No surprise that the tackles seem to be the problem area.

Anywhere that has our DB numbers? Honestly those numbers say we really should get a OT Greg Little since I think we upgrade that line, that would help out a young Mayfield just as much as a WR

Do you see a must get WR prospect in this draft?
