Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Pick a guy at each position for the Browns you think is a fit for what the Browns need with their current picks---

RB: Keaton Mitchell, East Carolina
TE: Jack Kuntz, ODU
OL: Blake Freeland, BYU
DL: Mojo Ojomo, Texas / Derrick Hall, Auburn
LB: Noah Sewell, Oregon
S: Ronnie Hickman, S

I don’t know a thing about this guy…but I’m going to be thrilled if we draft him.

Ojomo is a nice gap-eating run stuffer... who is weirdly undersized to play that role in the NFL.

At DT, I obviously have Carter, Kancey, Bresee, Mazi and Benton high--but after that group, I'm not sure if I have Ika or Ojomo next... but maybe it's Kobie Turner. I like his tape more than Ika's and his projection more than Ojomo's.

I probably wouldn't take any of them. I'd wait another round or so and take Byron Young (Alabama).

Day 3 players who intrigue me:

EDGE: Thomas Incoom, Central Michigan - great athlete who transitioned into playing defensive line. Productive.

Tomlinson's backup NT: Jerrod Clark, Coastal Carolina - former tight end who put on 85 pounds.

3 tech: Colby Wooden, Auburn - I blame coaching instability for stunting a blue chip talent.

OT - Warren McLendon, Georgia - Two time national champion right tackle who has some technical issues, enter Bill Callahan.

My takeaway from watching some Houston is that the coaches designed their offense around "clearing out" as much space as possible to give Dell one on one matchups as a slot. That means bunching receivers to another side of the field or flooding the other weapons to the sidelines to give Tank the middle of the field.

My concern is that if Dell doesn't beat his man, there aren't many other reads for the QB. Tennessee did the same with Hyatt. So, good idea in college ball but I don't know if it's the best way to see what a player can do in the pros.

The dream is dead:
I guess Zay is a guy I'm planting my flag on this year.

I think there's a better chance he's the first wr taken than he falls out of the first round.

If a bet were out there for Flowers to go in the top half of the first, I'd take it.

You make me call the specific shot and I'm saying he goes 14 to New England.

He just gets open against everyone, is electric with the ball, is super cerebral and has improved every year. My biggest concern isn't his hands or his height--it's his age.

It's sounding very much like Flowers to the Pats. Obviously lots of crossover between Pats fans and BC fans. Crowd will go crazy for that pick. I'm still not sure he's going to be worth that draft slot, but that's why they play the games. The leading receiver in the NFL last year with arms under 30 inches was Greg Dortch of the Cardinals, and he isn't a full time starter or a guy who gets a lot of targets. It's such a small catch radius.

Calling Flowers to New England specifically a month ago wasn't an accident.

Teams love Flowers. Having him at the Shrine Bowl was like having a famous comic at an open mic. Everyone knew he was different.

He didn't even practice on day one of Shrine Bowl. What happened? Well, someone had an issue with their equipment. So Flowers, knowing he was already a first round lock, just gave that guy his equipment. He made sure the player who was fighting for his career had a chance to do so, because everyone already knew that Flowers had it made.

Every team was looking at Flowers at the Shrine Bowl the way scouts were eyeing up Caleb Williams on Pro Day--but New England seemed to be the most interested, and they also have the pick that's high enough to get him if they want.

I still feel like LVN to New England would be too sexy to pass up on--he just screams Patriot to me. I also worry that with New England's history of drafting receivers, Flowers is going to bust. However, here we are....
