That Pretty much describes April and May which were glorified spring training. The big thing is the more balanced schedule and injuries made it impossible to

. Hopefully the new manager will get rid of the it’s okay it’s early approach to the first 6 to 8 weeks of the season next year. Those games do count despite how early they are .

The key was Greinke holding us to two runs through 3.2 innings. Once they went to Zerpa it was all over because we weren't going to score against a lefty with a mostly left-handed batting order where the right-handed hitters included Straw and Gallegher.

Giolito didn't have it today but it doesn't matter since he won't be around next year. When the Guardians made errors on each of the first two batters you knew it wasn't going to be their day. Then Gio falls behind Velasquez 3-0 with two runners on and grooves a fastball. Just like that we're down three runs. Our starters have sucked in the first inning all year it seems.

Tena had a 390-foot double to left-center. I didn't realize he had that much power the other way.

Cool Tena will be lucky to get another start. Playing young guys in meaningless games and sitting all the vets is just asking too much somehow .
