23-24 Trade Deadline: What Can Koby Cook Up? (Kitchen Is Closed)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
So basically Koby sat on his hands again?
The deadline was relatively underwhelming when you see the players that changed teams..

Looking at this picture, who would have made a difference for the Cavs and did they have the pieces to make it work?

Bojan is really the only guy that hurt and it's more so because of who he went to.. Otherwise, I wouldn't have given up Okoro (Grimes equivalent) to get Bojan..

Well, everyone said they worked the phones and clearly didnt' find anything that seems to move the needle at a reasonable cost. What move exactly did you expect him to make?
At least get a decent backup center.

I just wanted a backup center with TT out.

Tillman was the one move I was realistically disappointed with.. He represented a buy-low opportunity that could have filled a need this year, and for the next several years on a likely cost controlled deal..

TT will be back for the playoffs, so the need for one is lessened by that fact... If the Cavs really need one Biyombo is out there for a free and doesn't cost you a 2nd round pick..

Who and at what cost? I want one too, but there has to be someone you value enough to spend assets on it. I'd be surprised if we didn't get a buyout player of some kind, but again, in place of who?

Willie Cauley-Stein is available...

Im not a GM but there should be plenty of bigs on the bench somewhere who is better than the guy we have backing up allen. Im sure a couple 2nd rounders could get someone.

Ok, I guess Koby didn't try at all and has no idea what he's doing.

Correct. Literally sat on his hands this time.
Who would GM Nphan have traded for? Who would you have given up to get him? And which of the players who've won 21 of their last 25 games would you have sent to the bench to provide minutes for this savior? If you can't provide any answers, your rantings are just mindless nonsense.

There’s a lot of complaining just to complain around here.

If Koby would have made a move, people would be complaining.... "why rock the boat"
I think Koby did the right move. No one that got traded would have helped us all that much

Not moving D Wade was big to me. He has found his groove. And he is on a great contract. Okoro is another one that has taken his game up a notch. Maybe losing the braids has lessened tension. I swear during the game, I see him and say "who is that "?

Maybe there is a center out there somewhere on the waiver wire but with TT coming back well before the playoffs it is not that big of a concern to me. Kind of would rather see them bring Brobley up. Also want to keep some open seats on the end of the roster. Would like to see Bates up for the playoffs. Not to play, but to witness what playoff hoops is like in the NBA
