I would love Drummond here as I think him, Kyrie and Tristan all have very compatible types of game... And since we have the point guard and big men positions filled, we would just need to sign some dominant wing player who has free agency in a couple of years once those young guys are nice and developed. Anyone know anyone? :chuckles:
Ron Artest?

this is an added benefit of drafting drummond. he's just so raw that in his rookie year he'll have a minimal impact on w/l allowing the cavs to hopefully draft real high again.Drummond needs to work on everything. Post game, foot work, establishing position, his shot, his release point and so on. The biggest question will be how hard will he work to get the most out his physical ability. Does he want it?
it's tempting for sure. The possibility of having something that not everyone has (a dominant center) is starting to make me want Drummond over MKG
if miami isn't as successful as he hopes man that sure would be appealing.I don't want to talk about #6 but goddam how could he not want to play for us if we had a star PG and center on the team by then?
uh...maybe actually play a game in the nba? or be older than 18?What else does this guy have to do to prove he's a bust?

gilbert is bitter but he's not stupid. trotting out lebron with kyrie, davis/drummond/beal, and maybe even thompson shortly after the main casino opens would be retardedly profitable.I honestly think its going to happen. We are building something right now with all the picks and flexibilty we have. Lebron could win 3 rings in Miami but none of them will be sweeter than winning just one in Cleveland. Irving, multiple picks, TT, tons of cash...... I think he opts out in 2014 and tries to play for Cleveland. Will Gilbert go for it? Idk, but we could have one hell of a team.
honestly, it's mostly true for davis, too, should the cavs somehow manage to get him. he's real raw offensively and not yet strong enough to be a real great defender in the nba.I like the way you think. People will flip about still wanting high draft picks next year, though. Shit, this was the second year of a rebuild and people couldn't wrap their minds around wanting a high lotto pick.
