Pipedream. No chance the cavs end up with iguodala.
Even if it's only just 1 in a hundred billion it is still a chance.

Looking at the 76ers salary cap up to 2012\2013 they still have over 39 million in contracts on the books with just Iguodala,Brand and Williams under contract. This does not take into account monies owed to draft picks and the three QO to Young,Smith and Speights. The only way to rebuild this team is to move the contract of Brand moving Dalembert helps only next year and does not get the 76ers under the cap. Now the Rockets have indicated they do not want to take on Brands contract and I do not see an other team as a possible suitor it is a very bad contract. The Cavs offering a deal of Z,Wally and one other plus pick for Iggy and Brand gets the 76ers cap down to 36.7 mill for next year and only 5.9 mill for 2011\2012. The 76ers can do this trade and rebuild as of next year or wait till after 2012\2013 and have no cap space till then. Another issue that needs to be taken into account is would Gilbert be happy to add that amount of salary to the Cavs with them into the lux tax, not shore. I do also think Brand is not the player he used to be but he would be an upgrade at PF as we stand with the major upgrade being at the 2. I think this works for both teams if the 76ers want to put a competative team on the floor any time soon they do this deal. Cavs get their second option.
I don't know what I would do if I were Philly. Their situation is one of the worst in the league contract-wise, almost as bad as New Orleans and Charlotte. There's some young and relatively young talent there, but the Brand situation really makes things difficult.
There's no way Ferry makes this deal. First, it's not realistic to sign and trade Szczerbiak for as much as this trade would require. And it's also not realistic to think the Cavs could take on the long-term salary commitment this would require. The Cavs would still have to get another center (whether Z, Shaq, or someone else) for next year.
The Sixers are only growing more determined to make a deal before the deadline. I’ve heard that in strong terms from three different sources this week already.
Which tells me we should expect to keep hearing more trade scenarios that include Andre Iguodala’s name.
Foiled in its longstanding attempts to move Samuel Dalembert and/or Elton Brand, Philly has apparently come to realize that its best shot at a shake-it-up move is convincing one of the risk-taking/big-spending teams out there – such Houston, Dallas and Cleveland – to absorb the four years and $56.3 million remaining on Iguodala’s contract after this season.
Not that I’d give the Sixers great hope of hooking Cleveland.
The Cavs are still chasing a big man that can stretch the floor with 3-point range and continue to hope they can get one by peddling Zydrunas Ilgauskas’ expiring contract.
Washington’s Antawn Jamison and Indiana’s Troy Murphy remain Cleveland’s top targets – with the further hope that Big Z will be released by his new team and thus eligible to be re-signed after a 30-day wait like Antonio McDyess in Detroit last season -- as opposed to pursuing the likes of Iguodala or Golden State’s highly available Corey Maggette.
Iguodala and Maggette have both been known to masquerade at the 4 spot in a small-ball setup but can’t really be classified as power forwards.
I''ve been watching Iggy's games. and I'm double-minded about him coming here.
A part of me thinks that he will be a bad fit because he may not be able to provide Mo and Lebron with spacing. After watching what happened here with Larry Hughes I just think any SG we get has to be able to knock down shots.
Another part of me though believes he can be a damn good fit here because of his defensive capabilities. I can see him defending the likes of Kobe (probably has 3 years left in him max), Wade, Joe Johnson, Brandon Roy, and Kevin Durant.
I could also see him making all those guys work on the other end to defend him. He's also pretty young and his age and prime will go hand in hand with Lebron and Mo. I just think have two good perimeter defenders like Lebron and Iggy will cover alot of Mo's weaknesses.
I can see both Iggy and Lebron creating havoc on the defensive end. MB will utilize Iggy perfectly here, IMO.
It's just the offense that concerns me and as we've seen year after year it always comes down to our offensive struggles in the playoffs.
I think the vast amount of versatility bringing in Iggy would mean makes up for the possibility of a starting lineup that doesn't mesh. I'd rather have Iggy making things happen on both ends than watching Parker camp at the 3-point line and let anyone with feet get by him. Parker is currently in a role too big for him. Having Bron, Iggy, and Mo on the perimeter with Delonte, Parker, Moon, and Boobie to back them up would be ridonkulous.
If a cheap move for Iggy can be made, how in the hell could someone say no?
Though, it would still leave a ? at the 4 unless we also deal for Brand. Question then becomes, how much salary can this team handle?
