The Cleveland Cavaliers are down to a final list of three players for the No. 1 pick and hope to make a decision by Thursday morning, according to a source.

The list is expected to include Alex Len, Nerlens Noel and either Otto Porter or Ben McLemore. Chad Ford reported on Monday that it could come down to Len and Noel.

But the Cavs are also exploring trading the top pick since they’re not in love with any one player who in a “normal” year wouldn’t be a top pick. According to a source, Cleveland offered the No. 1 pick, Tristan Thompson and Dion Waiters to try and land Minnesota’s Kevin Love. But new Timberwolves president Flip Saunders won’t move Love.

The Cavs are fond of Thompson and Waiters -- the latter being one of the top six rookies last season -- but Cleveland would love to get an All-Star forward to pair with All-Star point guard Kyrie Irving.

The problem for Cleveland is there aren’t any takers for the top pick at the moment.

Elsewhere, a source said Oklahoma City was interested in packaging its two first-round picks (Nos. 12 and 29) and Kendrick Perkins for a top-five pick. But the Thunder have had no takers either.

Meanwhile, Dallas is openly shopping its No. 13 pick, but is having a hard time finding a quality deal.

There are a still a number of moves that could occur before the draft, like Golden State trying to purchase a second-round pick. But as of Tuesday afternoon, there was a lot of talk, but not much action.

Honestly have a hard time wrapping my head around giving up all that for Kevin Love. Maybe that is why I am just a fan.

Waaaaay too much to give up. Glad they were rejected, if true.

If I was the Timberwolves and I was offered that, I would have accepted and laughed all the way to the bank. That is way too much for Kevin Love. Thats too much for almost any player.

Chris Grant would never offer that much for Love, nor would their team ever reject that amount for him. That trade offer never happened. Noel could end up being just as good as Love himself, and he's younger.

I really don't believe that was our offer. I could see Tristand and the #1, but not all 3 assets.

Tristan and the #1 would allow the Wolves to resign Vucevic, and they could use #1 on McLemore or Porter. That would be a strong situation for the Wolves.

Throwing in Waiters? No way.

Jesus Christ...... there is no way the Cavs don't screw up this draft.

Grant's gone after this year.

Am I reading too much into this if I say that the only reason we would offer #1+Tristan+Waiters for Love is if we know Noel's knee is fucked?

I hope some idiot t-wolves fan made up this shit cuz it would be hard to accept that trade. Not a fan of Loves game. He can score, shoot, but I remember Phil Jackson calling him out once a while back saying that Kevin Love was an "empty" stats player. Doesn't play defense and is always complaining. TT is growing as a player and the month before we held out Dion with the knee injury he won rookie of the month and was ballin! Plus a #1?? uggghhhh I wanna punch Andy Katz in the face! Ha!

Everything that we know about Grant points to this not being something he would entertain.

I'd believe that the Wolves made that offer, though.
