Re: Miller & Salmons?

Well, it's the NBA. Where illogical trades happen. Believe that.

One can only hope that Geoff Petrie has the same GMing skills that of John Paxson.

You want their first round pick to? Damn you guys are greedy.

Re: Miller & Salmons?

Damn. I just set you up on that for a good one huh?

Re: Miller & Salmons?

Salmons & Hawes for Wally doesn't make sense talent wise, and also doesn't make sense with salaries (not even close to matching). I brought up Miller + Salmons in another thread, I agree that it should be considered.

Re: Miller & Salmons?

How about slamons and hawes? I like that better

so does everyone, but why does sac do that deal. Developing Hawes is why Miller is available.

Re: Miller & Salmons?

Hawes is not going anywhere. Maybe if Thomas was their GM... then we could get Martin,Miller & Salmons + a 1st rounder for Sasha, Eric & Wally. LOL!

Anyway... Wally + 1st rounder for Miller & Salmons makes sense for both teams.

Reggie doesnt like Salmons, and they continue to have problems. Miller has been available since last season started. We take miller, and play him on second team with Andy.

1st team:
C: Z
PF:Ben
SF:LeBron
SG: Salmons
PG:Mo

2nd team:
C:Miller
PF:Andy
SF:Sasha
SG:Boobie
PG:West

3rd Team:
C:JJ Hickson
PF:Lorenzen Wright/Darnell Jackson
SF: Jawad Williams
SG:Kinsey
PG: n/a

Looks like a pretty deep roster when you take Wally off and add Miller & Salmons.

Maybe the deepest in the league.

Re: Miller & Salmons?

Why would the Kings trade Hawes? He's only 20 years old and is already giving them 12 and 8. Im pretty sure they want him and Jason Thompson to be their frontcourt of the future.

Yeah, this is the truth. It's a shame too, because I really like Hawes' game for a 7 footer and he could easily be the heir to Z's throne. Do you guys realize that he's made a three pointer in all 6 games he's played this year, shooting 7-9 from 3pt (77.8%). That shooting ability would spread the floor for the Cavs even more than it does with Z in at center.

It wasn't that good, but it was true. I don't think we had more than two picks when he was here it was rediculous. "Oh yeah sure we'll give you a pick, pshh son't worry about it we've got one next year."

Thats why I like Dirk in a Cavs uniform.

Both Sasha and Kinsey are on our third team currently. And out of JJ, DJ, and Lorenzon, Wright is the only one that can really play center.

Re: Raja Bell, Amare Stoudemire

Phoenix has won 70% of their games so far...no way in hell they do that.

Cleveland gets: Gerald Wallace, Nazr Mohammed

Charlotte gets: Eric Snow, Sasha Pavlovic, and Nick collison

Oklahoma City gets: Anderson Varejao

Charlotte wants a legit big next to Omeka, and they want to get rid of Wallace. They get both in this deal. In addition, they get Snow and Pavs. And although they may not be anything for us...in Charlotte, Eric would start his coaching career, and Sasha has the defensive principles that Larry is trying to teach his team. Sasha learned from Mike Brown, who learned from Popovich, who learned from Larry Brown.

OKC gets Varejao...for a lot less than they offered for him this past summer

Cleveland gets another Big, and a another scorer. Nazr isn't anything special, but he has some tread on his tires and Hickson is already starting to get a lot of minutes. Something tells me that Varejao wont be with us when we play in the finals this year.

Side note: This is VERY fair for all teams...though Charlotte may try squeezing a 2nd rounder out of the Cavs...but I doubt it since we take Nazr off their hands and give them an extra 12 million next summer.

Re: Gerald Wallace, Nazr Mohammed

To be honest I dont really want to take on a four year contract from a player that is injury prone and doesnt even fit on this team. Nazr contract isnt the greatest either. Plus were givin up Andy who is crucial to our success....... and if Charlotte lookin for a LEGIT big.....why do they want Collison and their givin up a 5 times better player in Gerald?

Re: Gerald Wallace, Nazr Mohammed

Yeah and then there is the factor of Wallace's concussions. I think Smooth said he has had 3 of them. He is a disaster in the making.
