Re: Gerald Wallace, Nazr Mohammed

No way am I giving up Andy, keeping Wally, and not getting a legit big man in a deal. No way.

Re: Brad Miller & John Salmons

That's something I'd love, but would the Kings want it?

Re: Gerald Wallace, Nazr Mohammed

Well, that's what Wally is for. ;)

Re: Brad Miller & John Salmons

Im not sure I want Brad Miller but its reasonable......I think we could get more for Wally though.......

We can do better than a wing defender who has been tearing it up on the other end and a veteran near double-double center who doesn't hurt our 2010 cap space? I'm not sure we can find a deal better than that for Wally and Sasha that wouldn't make the other team laugh in our face and walk away.

Yeah, I don't see why they'd change their mind. One of the deals that was available to Ferry last year was Hughes, Drew & #1 for Salmons & Miller. I think Ferry would have taken it if he couldnt get the Chicago deal done, but the Cavs really needed their picks last year (and its a good thing we kept them too).

A Wally+Sasha+1st is an even better deal for the Maloofs. They'd be players this coming summer, and the following summer in free-agency...and they have some pretty good young talent there too.

Re: Brad Miller & John Salmons

People keep sayin theyd like Salmons but it really aint gonna happen. Sacremento LOVE him. I dont ever see hhim bein available.

Re: Brad Miller & John Salmons

The Kings have a logjam at the Guard/SF position. They Have Kmart, garcia, Douby, Greene, and Then Salmons. I was on a few King's forums and nearly all of them wanted to get rid of Salmons and keep the others.

i'd do this trade for sure...we get a guy that can score and Defend and also play the 2 and the 3 for when/if we play small. And brad miller is a solid backup

Re: Gerald Wallace, Nazr Mohammed

OKC makes the deal worse, IMO. Charlotte would much rather have Varejao than Collison.

Re: Gerald Wallace, Nazr Mohammed

Yeah, take OKC out of that deal, they aren't really needed. I still wouldn't do it because we wouldn't be getting enough frontcourt help back to make up for losing andy.

Re: Brad Miller & John Salmons

Salmons is available! They have been practically broadcasting it since this past summer...and he was available at the deadline last year.

Re: Gerald Wallace, Nazr Mohammed

Well, OKC was added for 2 reasons: #1... this is assuming something got done today...not after the 15th. And the other reason was to get Charlotte another pick plus a Big.

Otherwize, we have to wait until after the 15th? to trade Varjao to Charlotte.

And if we cut-out OKC... then we just do an Andy & Sasha for Gerald deal.

We'd obviously need to make another deal to bolster our front-court. But, with Snow & Wally available, that would just be a matter of finding the right deal.

Re: Brad Miller & John Salmons

I'd do it in a second, but why would Sacramento again? Especially with Salmons having a career year in the absence of Artest. A very low first rounder (the type you can often get for straight up cash), an expiring contract, and Sasha Pavlovic (aka, a homeless persons version of Salmons), doesn't really make a lot of sense.

Re: Brad Miller & John Salmons

There's absolutely ZERO reason for the KINGS to even consider moving Salmons... He's young, talented, and cheap... They have him for the next two seasons after this at reasonable salary... This Petrie fella is a tough customer as well...

It doesn't even make a lick of sense to move him...

You know what did make sense though ??? Trading away Ron Artest so John Salmons could play....

Well, Salmons isn't exactly a star...or even a fringe-star. And it isnt so much what they get in return, as what they get rid of. They want to trade Brad and his crazy contract. They save 17 million dollars next year, and get a 1st rounder.

As for where the pick is...unless it is a top-5 pick, it is a crap-shot anyway. Sacramento has too many good wing-players, and nowhere near enough time to play them all. Salmons is the one they trade, because he would bring back the most (beside KMart...who they wont be trading :( )... so Salmons is the odd man out. The fact that they can package Miller, their highest contract with him, and get a first in return, and save 17 million dollars.... is more than enough of a reason to trade a decent player.

For instance... Salmons isn't even considered on Mo William's talent level... And we got him for nothing.
