I'm so frustrated with the safeties playing 25 yards off the line. I get Greg William's point about its easier to make a tackle when running forward but every run play, every short pass or pass over the middle you're playing 10 against 11 or 9 against 11. By the time Pepppers gets to the play it's a 15 yard completion with the WR running in space. That's a recipe for disaster!! Even on 3rd and 5 they're playing 10 yard past the 1st down line. How is that helping!!!!!!!!!!!!

It’s so much better. It’s so goddamn simple. I mowed my lawn and then showed rape shacks (one of which an offer was accepted on) during the game.

So I was literally being productive and making money while the Browns were losing. It feels so much better.

Do this instead.
 
So we go down early in the game, but we give up 3 points in the 2nd half without some top defensive players.

We have a bunch of turnovers and penalties

We lost by 3 points to both the Steelers week one and the Colts week three

We are starting a guy barely old enough to be drafted at QB and TE and one of our most experienced players on the roster is only 25 years old. I think our average NFL experience on this roster is like 3 years and we are the youngest team in the league.

I would say if we gave up on the game then I would have issues but for the most part the team didn't give up on the game and they wanted the win for the most part. This team will still be different by the end of the season, but I see there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Guys give the rants a break will ya @Triple-S and others who are ranting (trust me I don't mind ya as a poster). It is year two of a rebuild where we completely stripped the team down to rebuild it from the ground up. It will take some to get things together especially when we have a young QB and trying to find guys who are worth keeping on this roster. This team will make mistakes and will mess up, but it all part of growing up which is what this team is doing. One catch here or one less penalty here and this is a 2-1 team since they had chances to win two games so far this season. Give this team patience since we are doing what we needed to back in 1999.

You have the right to complain about how this team was for all those years since we never kept management in place so to the fans the ownership and management was the issue. This team will not be ready to make the playoffs this season and going into it, we all knew they would not be a playoff contender. I would like to have seen a win against the Colts, but I am pretty sure this loss could teach the young guys a lot and as long as they don't get down on themselves they should be fine. They have a favorable schedule going forward the next few weeks and as the season goes along this team will get stronger as they get more gelled together.

People won't stop ranting unless you explain why they should! and I type a lot anyways so that isnt a rant lol

I think Dolan purposely scheduled this Sundays Indians game at 3 to punish us.

My only complaint is the receivers are just awful.

I thought Britt would be a good replacement for Pryor, boy was I wrong, should have over paid i guess.

Pryor looked good last night in washington and Britt has been absolute garbage dropping as many as he has caught.

I expected Peppers to look better at safety, but he is playing he as the free safety, not the strong safety or rover like I expected. I will give him the year to learn.

Our TE's are looking good as a group for all 3 being first or 2nd year players.

Duke Johnson is finally living up to some of his potential and finally being used right.

I like what i see out ok Kizer so far. The picks and holding the ball to long are expected, but the arm strength, accuracy considering drops and fearlessness are all good signs.

And for emphasis, the receiving core is just garbage.
 
Kenny Britt a replacement for Pryor?

Browns need a new RB too. Carson would have been good.

I agree with this 100%. Not have any receivers is killing us, 8 drops! We actually seem to be able to move the ball this year, then stupid penalties and drops kill drivers. I know we have had issues on both sides of the ball, but if we fix the penalties and the drops we probably win the game. I just dont know how we can have such a bad receiver core. The FO ego kept us from keeping Prior.

We dont know the whole story on Pryor to be honest, he took a million less to play in washington supposedly than what we offered.

That said, if a mistake was made by our F/O, I hope they learn from it.

And did I mention how much our receiving core sucks?
