I'll take him for our scraps and if he comes off the bench, He can be our Iguodala without the passing or the defense or the high basketball IQ

Melo is dishing out 3.1 APG pretty consistently, regardless of who he's playing alongside; for a guy who is known to be a "ball-stopper." He's also shooting a decent.438/.372/.835 with 6 RPG and only 2 TOV. He's putting up 22.7 PPG in 33.6 MPG.
If we're not moving a core piece; essentially one of our main starters; this is a no-brainer.
The only reason we're even talking about this is because Anthony has a no-trade clause.
A guy can still dish out 3.1 APG and be considered a ball-stopper.
I have no idea how this lineup is going to play out..
we can only guess but Melo is going to have to play differently than how he has played in NY.
Knicks fans can't wait for him to go and it's not because they all want to tank. His game can be very frustrating at times.
I just wanna make something clear...
If we're not moving Love, or Tristan, then who are we giving up that would have greater value/versatility than Carmelo Anthony? We're not really going to complain if we swap Shump/Frye/RJ for Carmelo Anthony are we?

Why the hell would we agree to that? I'd like to think we could at least snag a first round pick for Melo.
Why the hell would the Knicks accept that deal from the Cavs? They could do better from the Clippers with a Rivers and Crawford package with picks included.
I'm hoping Boston makes a move for Melo
What if it takes a 3rd team, we have to move TT/Shump/RJ and Cedi, and we pick-up Bogut on the buyout market?
