Cavs in dicussions with Bucks for Redd AND Charlie V....

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Bogut is a serviceable center. Not a building block. I agree that they should not have traded Yi, but he hated playing in Milwaukee and was going to bolt the minute he could.

Bogut doesn't have a ceiling much higher than he is playing and even though he is still young, he probably won't get much better.

Sessions is better than any pg in this draft right now, but the potential down the road for guys like Flynn, Teague and Jennings should be higher than Sessions.

I wouldn't make that deal. And Gadzuric would be lucky to get any playing time. Circumstances have changed a bit now, it's possible I guess that Redd is sent out by himself, but I think teams like us who are looking for a guy like Villanueva would insist in him being involved in a sign and trade.

Mil. will likely, and should resign Charlie and let Sessions walk if the do have to choose, they can get a PG at #10.

They dont have to chose now. They traded RJ. We are not getting CV nor Sessions. Clue in.

I'm not saying they have to choose I am just saying for the people who believe they do, that IF they had to they'd still probably pick Charlie so we should probably take him off the list. Who said I wanted Sessions by the way?

I think they keep both sessions and CV. The could trade redd or find a taker for Gadzlonic or Ridinour for a partially gurunteed like pavs. Would we be interested for a pavs for Gadzlonic or Ridinour trade straight up? Ridinour would definetly solve our back up pg problems.

Regardless -- neither one is an option any more. Why would the bucks trade away talented youth now that they've made a deal that will save them the money they need?

You do realize me and you are in agreement here right? lqtm. I know that they are off the market, not that I thought sessions was an option to begin with. I was just pointing out to the people saying that this helps us with Charlie and how he is on his way out and stuff, that he isn't an option at this point.

I was just gonna say, Ridnour is a player (or contract) theyd love to lose, and would be a very decent backup for us. A guy that doesnt look to shoot unless found open and can make plays well for others. Nothing special, but alot better than Boobie.

Would Ben, Boobie and the 30th pick for Redd and Ridnour work?

why are you so high on redd? first he wouldn't be the answer second we need a big first and in your trade you are using basically our best trade assets to get 2 guards

Have to throw in Sasha there.

And actually I believe Ridnour would be a good fit here.

omg i don't understand how a cavs fan who has watched us this year wants to do that trade. look at our frontcourt we are basically in rebuilding mode there (Z is not a starting center anymore and andy is a bench guy) and you want to trade all our assets for two guards. believe me that trade could easily mean that lebron leaves us because teams like la and orlando would destroy us again because nobody can defend their bigs

Calm yourself brother. Why am I so high on Redd? Partly cause he'd provide probably the best 3 point threat in the league, especially with LeBron driving and kicking. Partly because he already has fantastic chemistry with LeBron and at least has chemistry offensively with Mo. Partly cause he's a great locker room guy who anyone would love to have on their team. Partly because he will be able to play decent team defense once he's learned the system. And partly cause I just fuckin love the brother.

There are options. There are options now and there would be options if we traded Ben for Redd. We might not be able to find a star to add to the frontcourt, but there would still be alot of options. Anyone would be retarded to not want to add more firepower to the frontcourt, but a talent like Redd for an expiring contract is a potential Pau Gasol trade.

i could guarantee you that the chances would increase rapidly that lebron leaves if that trade you mentioned becomes reality unless we somehow trade Z for a nice center which won't happen because ferry doesn't want to trade Z.

first redd is not a good defender....and don't tell me now that he was known as a good defender when he entered the league that's almost 10 years (and a major injury) ago...second he had some major problems (as far as i know also in the locker room) with mo in milwaukee so that wouldn't be a nice combination (also chemistry wise) here. third he comes back from a major injury and has a huge contract which would destroy our cap flexibility over the next years (i don't mind not having cap space in 2010 but not if it's because of a guy like redd)......
but the main argument like i said before i wouldn't solve any of our biggest problems. those problems aren't in the backcourt although it would be nice to have a taller sg like anthony parker playing there but we have serious issues in the frontcourt: Z is no longer a starting center in this league (if i would be our gm i would make him available), varejao is a bench guy he's simply not good enough (offensively as well as defensively) to start on a team that has the goal to win it all, ben is done, hickson and jackson aren't ready, joe smith is 4th big off the bench. you know our problem against orlando wasn't our scoring it was our defense mainly our post defense. a lot of people think delonte should move to the bench because he did a bad job (although because he's too small to defend lewis/turkoglu) on turkoglu but he held him to 39% shooting in that series it was a guy named howard who embarassed us in the post..

so do you still want michael redd although it absolutely makes no sense to trade our best trade assests for him?

oh, imagine that, bucks trade oberto for amir... even less room to re-sign sessions..

Amir is a PF... maybe a move for Villanueva is on the horizon?
