I know people don’t like Drummond on this board but my God the guy led the league in rebounding 3 of the last four years. You don’t get rebounds standing around. The fact that he led the league in rebounds 3 out of the past 4 years tells you how bad the more athletic big men (Embid, KAT, AD, TT, Jokic, etc) suck at rebounding.

No one is arguing that Drummond was not capable. He just had is head screwed on sideways, and played selfish ball. IMO , if he had a commitment to do what he does well, he could lead a mediocre team into the playoffs. But he won't do what it takes, so no one wants him..

Trevon Bluiett has been the most consistent guy on the team so far. I wonder why he's never gotten a real look in the pros. Nothing flukey about that shot and he has good size.

Overall entertaining game tonight, cavs played hard but couldn't hang with the talent of grimes, Mcbride and toppin.

Stevens was having a great game, 21 pts, 7 rbs, but mid way thru the 4th he got annoyed with yet another stupid play by Thomas and threw his hands in the air. Outlaw benched stevens for the rest of the game, but allowed thomas to continue his blunders. But I will say, overall, thomas was better this game, but still had 3-4 idiotic plays.

Bluiett and Ryan shot well again.

It's hard to judge his defense against this competition, but it seems like he has decided to fill a role rather than doing too much. In college half his shots were 3's so that is good. He was the leading scorer on his college team, but if he could just be a pure spacer? Why not?

I guess it depends on if he can play passible defense, but a guy who can shoot like him is a guy we need on the team.

Ryan I like, but he can't move properly. He will just get hurt eventually.

None of the guys you mentioned suck at rebounding. In fact, they're all very good at it.
