It's not really much about Toronto (although I do think the Biyombo loss and Ibaka gain is a net positive for us). It's about Irving: if Irving plays like he did last round this goes 6 or 7 easily. If he plays like he capable of 5 or 6

Totally agree.

I actually think Love playing well is more of an important factor for this series than Irving. The best way to ensure we beat the Raptors is by winning the rebound game, so we need to make sure Love and TT are wreaking havoc on that end.

If Kyrie can go ham that would certainly make things easier, but I've been so impressed with Deron Williams in the playoffs so far that it doesn't make it as essential as it would otherwise be.

I am way more scared of Ibaka in Toronto than I was with Biyambo there. Ibaka in that system is perfect with length, quickness and offensive prowess. You could easily double off Biyambo or even hack him but it's hard to double off guys in Toronto outside of Tucker and Carroll. Luckily the system is filled with perennial losers.

The Raps in 4 one has to be someone from RealGM carrying over that inside joke on there.

Finally got the remaining schedule for you guys!

Game 5 -- Tue. May 9, Toronto at Cleveland, TBD, TNT

Game 6 -- Thur. May 11, Cleveland at Toronto, TBD, ESPN

Game 7 -- Sun. May 14, Toronto at Cleveland, TBD, TNT

No times will be set on Games 5-7 until next week as they're dependent on the other series length.

Unfortunately Games 1-6 all have only 1 day of rest in between them, so it's in our best interest this series doesn't drag out.

Once again, the OP has been updated with this info and you can refer to it for the complete schedule.

There are going to be a lot of pissed off people when Ibaka drops 20-10 with three blocks in one or two of these games. He's getting so underrated by a number of people on this board.

people don't do a good job of separating effects. They see Toronto score 100 pts against bucks and think their offense sux when it was 6th overall (even w/Lowry missing bunch of games). Don't think about Bucks D as a factor. Similarly, they look and Biyombo and see the defensive board energy and don't think about the difficulties he was causing them on offense. They say PJ Tucker sucks! and don't think about how much DeMarre Carroll sucks, and that Toronto still won two games. If the Cavs lose this is where it would happen, with a sense of over confidence, with them thinking they can turn on the switch, to a team they under estimate because they beat them before. This isn't the Hawks. I'm hoping they show up, but it feels a bit like a trap series. That's why I expect it to go 7 before pulling it out.

I admit (and have already admitted many times) that I vote for the opponent in 4 in every one of these threads. I'm 5-0 with it the past couple years so why stop? People should probably not care what options other people vote for, especially when the opponent in 4 or 5 is likely a joke vote or an anti-jinx vote :chuckle:

NBA did the Raps a solid with the schedule. Makes no sense that Bos-Washington starts before our series when both Cle and Tor finished their 1st round 1st. Game 1 should be tonight. Raps got 2 extra days off for no reason and our advantage from sweeping is mitigated.

Really.. makes 0 sense other than the fact that the NBA hates Cleveland. They rather see Canada prevail.

Love is going to do his thing
