If he can grow that much from imitating LeBron, is there an older star out there he could learn from in a similar way that wouldn't be too expensive?

I meant the photo as a joke, obviously. But in some sense there is a tinge of seriousness to it.

I think sometimes we forget (and maybe some of the younger posters don't truly realize) just how good AC was back in the day before the injuries. Guy would just take you to town no matter where he was on the court and before you knew what hit you he had 30. Yeah, he's a little goofy on the broadcasts, but he is knowledgeable. And although he can't demonstrate the athleticism part of the game anymore, he still has a wealth of knowledge about the minutiae of the game that he can dispense to anyone who's willing to listen.

I wonder how active he is with that. I just get the feeling he doesn't really spend much time with the guys. Love AC and as far as his visin of the game I do think he sees things very well. It is more his mouth that gets in the way than his eyes.

I would love a Grant Hill type of guy or someone else who maybe has been limited by injuries, but could basically do anything on the court at one time for Cedi to learn from. Basically needs to be a guy who has been humbled.

It might be Korver. I wanted something for Korver originally, but seeing how much Cedi has learned from the Vets, we really can't just leave this team without any good mentors.

Richard Jefferson? Or, is he too old to effectively mentor on/off the court?

Love to have him back. I think it is becoming clearer that having Channing and Jefferson were crucial to bringing the team together. Glue guys are underrated.

You are right to that he is a high IQ guy that just doesn't quite have it anymore.

I had the privilege of watching Austin not only on the Cavs but at Notre Dame. He was the ultimate professional both on and off the court. If it weren't for injuries he would have put up numbers that LeBron would've had trouble catching plus he was the ultimate team player.

He's by far my favorite commentator. He's so much more entertaining than the guys they have doing national broadcasts.

You can see in Cedi's eyes he wants to be out there but he has nothing less to prove.
